    To start they are not American friendly here. They do not speak English nor do they have American…read moremenus. Since I couldn't translate exactly what I would be ordering, I choose beef. It was tough as leather. My husbands cod was only ok. To top it off, we were relegated to the front of the building without heat! I won't ever be back to this place and if you're American, and don't speak French, you should choose another place!!

    My husband and I came here for lunch after visiting Juno Beach. We were able to translate most of…read morethe menu using google and chose the apricot chicken lunch meal and the peppercorn beef. Hubs had the seafood soup with his meal which he loved. I had the Cesar salad that was drenched in way too much dressing but still not terrible. The apricot chicken had a weird texture and not much flavour. I had the peppercorn beef-medium. It was blue rare and very tough, and the peppercorn sauce didn't have any flavour either. The desert was quite good though! All in all an experience to say the least. I hope in the future- being that Juno Beach is a huge part of Canadian history and attracts many English speaking Canadians- they get an English version of their menu to help with the language barrier. We were able to make it through but I know if that was my mom she would have just not ordered anything lol. I was impressed with the effort of the young male server though! But we do understand not every where has English versions of menus but this was the first restaurant we visited without one or without at least one server that spoke a bit of English.
