The employees are extremely unapproachable. I can be standing next to the chicks for a very long time and no one will offer to help, if someone else brings them over they leave in a hurry before I can ask for anything too, like they don't want to help people. I don't understand how to get to where they keep fences and posts and water troughs. It needs to be more clear. Also they need to make it clear if they have large bales of hay and not just the compressed ones. Everything in the store is all over the place. Tools are spread out in at least three different locations. Who knows where a lot of things are. The organizations they let sell in front of their store are pushy and unpleasant to deal with. If someone wants to look at your stuff, they will, if they're trying to walk past and get on with whatever they need to get done, leave them alone, they're probably trying to get work done, and certainly aren't going to buy just because you decided to be pushy. Better yet, don't let these annoying organizations set up in front of the store at all! They make people NOT want to come back. If I see these things set up I drive away now, every time. There are other stores I can give my money to. Would rather go to any other farm place. read more

I'll never shop here again. Wanted to purchase chicks for pets and eggs. Employees had no idea what breeds they were, so we bought 6 yellows figuring they were leghorns or similar. They turned out to be white rock/cornish crosses, bred for meat only. At 9 weeks old we learned that they are at the age of slaughter. If not, they will continue to grow so fast that lungs and heart can't keep up. Not much longer before they pass. Buyer beware, I know. Why the heck can't they keep these chicks separate from egg layers? read more

This is kind of like the Wal-Mart of feed stores and that's pretty neat, but almost all the merchandise is very low quality "made in China" kind of junk. The fencing items are good and the prices are competitive. Their feed, though, is to be avoided. I used to buy 20% range cubes and finally quit after dealing with too many bags of moldy feed. I bought chicken feed once that was full of bugs and that was the final straw. I won't buy feed from them even if they were the only feed store in town. Their parking lot is always perpetually flooded because of a leaky faucet on the side of the building, that they refuse to have repaired. read more

The bit was priced around $10.00 and was endorsed by one of their salespeople. The first hole that I drilled came out fine, although, the bit would not complete the second hole. The following day I returned to #Bullard Hardware , explained the circumstances and asked for a refund or a credit toward a replacement bit. The manager refused my request, stating that "we don't give refunds on drill bits in packages that have been opened." Following his reply, I thought to myself, how convenient, they can sell #NAPA sub-standard drill bits or anything else and hide behind their nonsense return policy. Being that, you have to open the package to find out if the merchandise is faulty or not. What else was I to think.
