Staff is nice but very eager to catch you doing something wrong even if you are innocent. They will stare you down rudely. The staff at the self checkout aren't friendly except for one girl. She's short and has brown hair and glasses. She's my favorite worker and the only one is is nice.

If you're so worried about it, please open a register and scan everything for me. Then proceeding to check my receipt before I leave self check out. THEN being stopped AGAIN at the door for someone to check my receipt.... Mind you several other people walked out of the store without having their receipts checked. Bags or no bags. Including my daughter with a handful of phone cases. Receipt in hand, but not checked. But I had to be checked several times. It is illegal for any store that does not require a membership (Costco/Sam's club) to mandate people show you their receipt upon leaving. There is however, "Shopkeepers privilege" that states if a store suspects you of stealing, they are able to search your bags and detain you as needed be. So. Walmart. When you ask me if you can check my receipt....I will say no. If you state that I am suspected of stealing, then, I will gladly show you the items in my cart and receipt. Please educate your employees of these rules so that when I tell them they cannot force me to show my receipt because the rule is to show receipts....they do not argue with me about it. For starters, there is a Starbucks and a Walgreens pharmacy attached, which seems pretty typical for a grocery store, but then you see they have a gelato shop, a pizzeria, a grill with a patio, a taqueria, and more. Their huge patio space makes it a place that people of Tyler love coming to and eating at. This is like a Whole Foods for Tyler. The options and selections were a lot more vast than I had ever seen. I'm seeing fruit and produce I've never seen before. They have so much wine and beer to choose from. Their bakery has so many insane options. FRESH even has a full playground next door and live music on their patio. It's honestly a really impressive shop. One of the only downsides of FRESH is that you're going to pay that price tag. Everything is always slightly more than elsewhere in town. Its quality is what makes it worth the visit. I took note that this location of Brookshire Brothers reminded me of Piggly Wiggly. However, it caught me off guard given there were also more men hanging out in the parking lot, talking at the corner. It was different! Their alcohol selection is above average for a grocery store. They sell these cute mini, single - glass bottles of wine in a pack of four. They take the time to message if something needs clarification and ensure everything on the order is selected exactly as requested. Every grocery item arrives fresh, carefully chosen, and handled with obvious attention to quality. What truly stands out is how seamlessly the pharmacy integrates with delivery. Prescriptions arrive double sealed for safety and privacy, and you must sign for them upon delivery, which adds an extra level of security and professionalism. Even more impressive is the care provided by the pharmacists. If a medication is new, they personally call to review possible side effects and discuss any potential interactions-exactly the same level of diligence you would receive if you were standing at the pharmacy counter in person. They past couple of times I have bought meat from HEB it has not been up to the usual HEB standards. What is going on with the quality of meat that HEB is selling? Three dogs equals 6 cans. If you can't match the order, then explain that you don't have that much. I love the service. The people are fantastic. They just need to work on a lot of small issues.

I also shop for my 95 year old mother who can in no way manage a cart so I put all the items for my self and her in one cart since I am also elderly and in no way could manage 2 carts at one time! My husband is usually accompanying me to help. He checks her items and I usually check ours - different accounts for different people but use one cart. They really use aggressive tactics when approaching you regarding this! I am no way breaking their so called rules as I don't go over 10 items at all! No sign anywhere you have to have 1 cart for each person! Really scary the way they approach you. Also witnessed them go over to a much elderly lady that was bagging her food as she went and the nasty girl ran over and proceeded to snatch her bags from her cart and just dump them back har cart tossed the bags aside suspended her order and told her to go to another register. So sad since the majority of people that shop there are elderly and should never ever be treated this way!!

The lane that is open always has someone with a hundred items in their basket forcing people who don't have time to wait to the self checkout which usually is also full and has a wait. The self checkout machines function poorly and don't report half the items you scan. It always calls for an adsociate to "help" who then accuses you of not scanning items. They are horrible in dealing with people and smart alecs. One spoke to me like I was trash and did something wrong. Turns out she was wrong. Tried to double charge me for two items. Then it said two other items weren't scanned in whrn THEY WERE!. Then she refused to come back to release the machine when the same exact thing happened 30 seconds later. Just ignored me. A manager haf to come straighten it out. And then when I left he was speaking to another manager in the corner that was just glaring at me. Maybe if they hired and paid enough people to properly run the registers and checkout lines instead of having kids and trailer park trash standing around accusing people of trying to steal when the problem is their machines, just maybe this wouldn't happen. I told her I would not be coming back and that Brookshires is much cleaner anyway...she said something like so what, it doesn't matter anyway. Absolutely unnacecptable customer service and everyone should boycott Kroger in Palestine Texas. By the way, everyone else wad complaining around me too, I am just the one that is not afraid to boldly speak out! Trash trash trash.
