look. im a very short woman. so when i walk into any business involving cars, its inevitable that…read moresomeone there will start talking to me like im the biggest moron on the planet because i look like i'm 16. it's incredibly frustrating to be spoken down to because i have the audacity to depend on other people for help with specialized knowledge and tools that don't fit my teeny tiny little hands. it sucks when i have to pay someone for belittling me. there was not a single moment i was here where i was treated like anything other than a normal human being. and they went above and beyond what i cynically have come to expect from most businesses: for less than $300 total and within 48 hours, i had my car inspected, an oil leak found and fixed, and the car passed for inspection. i have no complaints at all. that's so ridiculously reasonable and thoughtful (im an artist! im broke!) that it spurred me to come on yelp and write a review. thanks to everyone involved from the fellas at the counter to the crew in the garage.

I explained my issue (check engine light). he told me to drop it off the next morning, which I did. **The place is a little odd when you are looking from the road, It is a gas station with the service bays in the back. The name is on the awning and not the sign. Once I arrived, I was greeted with a smile and a handshake. He took my contact info and told me he would give me a call after noon. He called back and explained that he had hooked up my car to the computers and got the codes. Ran all of the latest diagnostics so on and so forth. and that it all actually checked out. In the discussions I mentioned that the car had some recent body work. Piecing it all together his opinion was that they had unhooked the battery at the body shop and some of the programming did not take when they hooked it back. Total charge, $0.00. Had I taken the car to Inskip, I would have paid $90.00 just to plug it to the machine. So at this point, I am a fan and will return. I will add any update when and if I need to have my car worked on.

I had an issue with my windows not going down so I asked him to check it. He charged me for looking at it and told me he changed some fuses. I didn't have the money to get it fixed so he gave me a copy of what the bill was. It was almost 600 dollars. I took the car to a relative and he took the little panel off where the power buttons are and asked why is this unplugged I told him Joe must have left it like that, so he plugged them together then turned my car on and what do you know ALL the power windows went down. I had also brought my car to him with a screw in my tire and I asked him if he could plug it. Well he called me back and said that the tire was no good and of course he had one for just over 100 dollars, so I paid it. Well I recently got a flat and for the heck of it I asked the repair guy at Ryder tire in West Warwick if he would see if the tire in my trunk that Joe said was no good could be used? Well what do you know the tire was fine and I have been using it for over 2 months now. I also went back and looked at some of the bills that I have from Joe and things are not adding up!!! What a surprise. I don't know how that man sleeps at night. I left him a message but of course I got no reply. Times are tough and I have a family to support and the very last thing I needed was Joe to rob me. I absolutely believe in karma so just know it's coming Joe.

Next I was told it was the ABS module which it was NOT! I had to spend an additional $75 to another mechanic who bled the master cylinder and my brakes were up where they belonged. Not only did Bill at Mancini's $449 to repair my car which they did not but, when I went back to the station (Bill said any problems just come back) he misdiagnosed my car and broke the foot long piece that adjusts the seat and failed to tell me. A horrible way to do business and charge an older woman for an incomplete job! A SHAMEFUL AND DISHONEST BUSINESS!! BEWARE..
