I also love their $15 dollar rack they have available on the sidewalk. Their sale items change weekly and accommodate sizes S-L. Everything fits differently, so sizing up or down is likely. Their prices are also very reasonable ($30-$50), compared to the other clothing stores downtown. I highly recommend this store to anyone that is looking for classy, timeless pieces! ** They also have plus sizes in the back, which a lot of people are unaware of, so they inform you as you enter the store. I wish I would have stopped here first! Putting on the Ritz has been helping girls for 30 years find the perfect Mardi Gras dress, prom dress, or pageant dress. The store has a large variety of dresses and their sizes range from 0-32. Putting on the Ritz also offers a 30 day lay-away with an $100 deposit. From the moment I walked into the door, I was greeted and my hunt started. I gave the lady a general idea of what I was looking for, and she pulled a few dresses that were spot on. The staff here really knows what they are doing, and the customer service is amazing! In less than an hour, I found the dress I was looking for. Another great thing about Putting on the Ritz is that they only carry a limited amount of each dress. Maybe 1 or 2 of each size for a particular dress. I loved not having to worry about another girl at this particular ball having the same dress as me, and even at other balls throughout the Mardi Gras season, I never saw another girl with this particular dress on. Considering most of the larger balls have approximately 1,500 other girls attending, this was a big deal. I will definitely be returning to Putting on the Ritz as my first stop when I get ready to dress shop for the 2018 Mardi Gras season!

Making a very long story short- I dropped a bag off and asked for a certain font and color to be put on a book bag. The order form said exactly what I wanted. The store owner called and confirmed my order. She then lost the order form and did what she thought looks good. Unfortunately that's not what I asked her to do and she has tried several times to make me feel bad because she likes the font color and size that she put on the bag and said I'm being unreasonable and shouldn't make her feel bad. If she would have completed the order as asked there wouldn't even be a problem. She said she would order a new bag and redo the order. Weeks go by and I check in each week asking if she received the bag; she finally says she has it but she's not putting anything on it. So she messed up the bag I bought and now I'll have to order another bag to replace the one she messed up because now my son hates his bag.
