Unfortunately we found some previously completed roof work compromised the integrity of the flue so he strongly discouraged continued use until a suitable fix was put in place. The scheduled day/time came but nobody showed up. I called and they said they'd forgotten to call over the weekend telling me the part hadn't come in yet. I'd taken time off work to schedule around that appointment, so the oversight was extremely inconvenient. I asked about rescheduling and they said they'd call me back, which they never did. I tried calling for weeks and couldn't even leave a voicemail because the mailbox was full. Finally, I gave up and scheduled another company to do that work, but they can't get us in until after Christmas, which means we're unable to use our fireplace for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Also, now it seems that the money we paid for the inspection may be wasted because the new company will likely charge me to do their own inspection. I really wish Victor would return my calls and get this work scheduled before Christmas, but I cannot waste any more of my own time calling with no answer. Very disappointing.
