I called and made a Saturday appointment. Jeremiah was on time and did a great job!! The results were immediate - over 90 degrees outside and 75 inside. I had to raise the thermostat as I started getting cold! He'll be returning after my addition is complete to clean the ducts. They probably have NEVER been cleaned in 70 years. I don't envy that job, but I have every confidence he will be excellent!! Also sharing his info with my GC.

This home was built in 2000. However, when the FPL Energy Survey Audit was done on 1/9/25, it was determined that the attic area could benefit with additional insulation. FPL recommended another Participating Independent Contractor (PIC) but I decided to use Broward Insulation since Jeremiah, came out and agreed to match the other Company's price Quote and said he was able to do the work yesterday, 1/16/25. So he did. This mimute, 4:05 p.m. is when I finally received only 2 photos, showing the depth of the insulation and the PAID Invoice which I'd previously requested twice. My recommendation is not to part with the FPL Rebate Certificate (for $220.-) until after you, the consumer, has proof that Blown-in Insulation of R-30 is adequate and you are satisfied that ihas the desired level of comfort in your home.

I hired them to install spray foam in my attic in late 2025. They told me the job was complete, but upon inspection, they only sprayed 1/2 as much foam as they were supposed to. They apologized, blamed their sprayer and came back to spray the additional the foam. Again, I checked and they sprayed less foam than they were supposed to (per their standard contract) AGAIN (the 2nd attempt). Again, they apologized and came back and sprayed more foam. My guess is that Karl assumes home owners will not go into the attic and inspect their work, and therefor, Karl saves time and money by spraying less foam than required for the R value he promises. If by chance you used them and are reading this, stick a hanger in the foam and see how many inches deep it is. I would bet it's not as deep as you paid for. They also did additional duct work in my attic that needed to be corrected. BOTTOM LINE: Don't trust these guys. Don't use these guys. Karl is full of sh*t. My skateboarding hobby has picked up some casualties along the way - first my shoulder (healed…read moreafter breaking four months ago), and, last Saturday, our laundry dryer duct. I had been fiddling with some components when a nut fell under the dryer, so I pulled the dryer out from the wall, ripping the duct in the process. I spent a little bit of time doing some DIY diagnosis, removing a couple pieces from the dryer and attempting to remove the dryer vent cover from the exterior of the house. After realizing that it was sealed onto the side of the house and not making much progress cutting through the caulk with a razor blade, I decided it was time to step back and not cause any further damage. Turned to Yelp, sent out a few rounds of quotes; a few hours later Alex showed up. He quoted me a flat rate that sounded good and went to work. Within two hours, he had removed the dryer duct and vent, bought replacement parts at Home Depot, and sealed everything back up. He set it up so that pulling the dryer away from the wall won't break the duct and also gave me easier access to the gas line. I was thrilled to get it all taken care of within a few hours on a Sunday afternoon since not being able to do laundry can be stressful (I still don't understand why my daughter only has one pair of socks for soccer practice). Alex was punctual, very nice, and understanding, not making me feel bad about my DIY efforts. Most importantly he fixed the issue quickly and made it clear that he would stand behind his work. Will be calling him for small jobs around the house in the future!

Perfection. Will definitely be calling Alex again!

After the technician left, I…read moreinspected the unit because it didn't have the fresh, cleaned appearance and smell it normally does after service. I found a dead roach still sitting in the drain pan, which raised concerns that the cleaning I paid for had not actually been performed. When I contacted the company, instead of addressing my concerns or returning to inspect the work, they became defensive and eventually stopped responding. They have since publicly claimed my property had "health and cleanliness issues," a "roach problem," and even referenced "rat droppings" in my AC system. These statements are completely false. There was no roach infestation, no rat-dropping issue, and I never hired them for pest control services. They also claimed I expected a low-cost AC cleaning to remove all roaches from my home and that I threatened them with a bad review if they didn't. Neither of those things happened. My complaint has always been the same: I paid for an AC cleaning and found evidence that the cleaning had not been completed as represented. Rather than correct the issue, they chose to make inaccurate public statements about me and my property. I encourage potential customers to carefully read both sides, review the photos, and make their own determination
