I had a reputable company come out and they said that the insulation installed is not R-38 as contracted but is way less. I've tried to reach him, maybe he is out of business, his phone is just busy. I have a small digital thermometer that sits near the western facing kitchen window. At around 3pm this thermometer would read 85 degrees...I would just deal with it....Since his service the thermometer now typically reads 77 degrees! I KID YOU NOT. C was super thorough too. he ensured that every corner was properly insulated...and when he was done insulating he went around the perimeter of the house and filled-in areas that would possibly allow critters to enter. You have to keep in mind, this is a MESSY JOB...But, his crew made sure they cleaned up the area as mush as possible. Due to having to open up a ceiling in the 2nd story of our home for some repairs, we had a small opening into the upstairs crawlspace area. I reached out to TCI on Friday afternoon to see if there was any posibility to do the work on Saturday because the opening was to be closed up on Monday. Jonathan was super communicative and managed to squeeze my project in on a Saturday with less than 24 hours notice from me. He also took care of my FPL rebate for me, taking it off his total price and making the my life much easier (and the project less out of pocket for me). His team arrived on time and were very polite and respectful of my property. They took before and after pictures for me without me even having to ask them to do this and shared them with me before requesting payment.
