The service, the food, and the drinks have always been well made. I usually come in when meeting my grandmother for lunch while on this side of town, the ambiance is great for casual lunch or supper. Not so loud you can't hear each other over the noise of the other patrons/music which is helpful when you're talking to someone with hearing loss. The food has never been wrong, always well made, the staff has always been kind, very warm. If you're looking for a casual restaurant to add to your rotation of different places to eat, I'd say that this would be a great choice. read more

Dinner was ok here. Had some yummy foods and some subpar foods. Mom and I split the Baked Poppa Dip and I have to admit that cheesy dip with the bacon jam was EXTREMELY GOOD. The wonton chips were also a big win and mom and I both loved those as well for dipping! I wish the entire plate of chips were the wonton chips instead of half and half! My buffalo chicken flatbread pizza was mediocre though. The amount of mozzarella cheese was pretty skimpy, especially around the perimeter so it seemed like most of the time I was just biting into a crispy piece of flatbread that had buffalo sauce on it rather than as actual piece of pizza. If they were more diligent about covering the entire thing with cheese, it would have made it so much better. The amount of other toppings was sufficient but with the chunks of chicken, you only really got one bite of meat per slice which was a bummer. Mom and I shared the fried snickers and it was fun. It's best to eat it right away so you can enjoy the warm melting snickers covered in that fried shell because after a short while the ice cream cools it down and it loses that melty and gooey goodness. I probably wouldn't get it again but I'm glad I gave it a try. Overall our meal was fine and we both got full. I really liked the wonton chips and the bacon jam in the cheese sauce (I would 100% ask for more bacon jam on top of the cheese if I got it again!) My flatbread was a little disappointing from the lack of cheese. If there was the same amount of cheese on every piece that there was in the center piece it would have been great. But it still tasted good and I did eat it all. If I came back I'd probably try something else but I'd still say this is an ok place to grab dinner, even though the overall quality of my food wasn't the greatest. read more

Last night for Mother's Day we arrived about 6:45. Didn't seem too busy however when we finally got our drink order and cheese curds ordered, we waited another 30 minutes to place our dinner order. Even after placing the dinner order we still hadn't received our appetizers. Finally at around almost an hour of being there we inquired where our food was, to which the server said he hadn't even put in our dinner order because the kitchen we backed up and oh by the way we ran out of burgers. We all ordered burgers so it was a nice slap in the face. Never coming back here. We walked out without even getting our appetizers. read more

This place came highly recommended from a friend, so I tried it out. Definitely did not disappoint. The atmosphere is really cool. Has an over 21 side and a family side. We ordered Balsamic Chicken, Pork sliders and the Jambalaya. Had an appetizer of fried pickles and the fried snickers for dessert. The food was excellent!! Nothing will ever beat the Jambalaya I had at Mardi Gras in New Orleans, but this was really good!! Definitely will be back . I've gone there for years. However, I will no longer go there as the quality of the food has dropped tremendously. Poor meal and service 1-month ago and thought it was an anomaly but same experience a couple days ago. Years ago their nachos were the best in town- now you get a plate of chips with a scant amount of toppings and an awful cheese like sauce. They forgot our salads and brought out entrees out before the appetizers. Nobody at our table finished their meal. Waitress offered us desserts on the house do to our experience only to come back later to say manager would not allow. No apology from manager or consideration. Place was almost dead when we were there so it's not like they were overwhelmed. Save your money and choose a better experience. read more

Stopped by on a Thursday around 3pm. The restaurant was fairly empty but got busier towards dinner time. We started with an appetizer (Baked Spinach & Artichoke Dip). It was delicious! For our meals, I ordered the Firecracker burger with chicken and my husband ordered the Charging Chicken sandwich. The food/beer was great and our waitress was friendly. We love the chislic and I always get a salad which I think are equally as good as the chislic, but the frye bread with queso is the best. Lots of local flavors to help you understand the Midwest palate. Ordered a few drinks and had a great convo with our waitress Kat who was very attentive to us and allowing herself to be socially distant but still made us feel like she was at the table with us. The tables are set up so that we felt comfortable being inside while still social distancing. Will definitely come back and check out the rest of the menu. So I ordered the stuffed baked potato and the side salad. It's a good salad with homemade dressing and special croutons but the stuffed baked potato....don't get me started. That thing was in no way a 'stuffed baked potato'!!!! It was an old potato, that is one that had been sitting around for a while (and believe me I know) covered in some bad sauce with large grilled vegetables placed on, in and around it. I was so bummed when I saw it. Maybe someone would like this....but it's not a stuffed potato which is what they promised on the menu. IMHO If you're not actually selling stuffed baked potatoes don't call them that! It's cruel. Call them smothered or something..... In case people don't know: a stuffed baked potato is made by removing the interior of the potato mixing it with stuff (usually cheese, butter and sour cream) and putting the mixture back into the potato to be baked for a short time. If you think you're getting this and instead they bring you this old rubbery potato that was maybe cooked anywhere from a 1/2 to a full day prior, and topped with things that don't make the potato better you would be very bummed out. read more

We showed up to watch an NFL game. A generous sized TV was playing the packer game. At first the hostess sent us to sit where they were only airing the Viking game. Okay. We were all in Green attire with a big G on... maybe the attic is not exactly a sports bar so the hostess isn't trained to spot that. But soon we found our way to the right table.
