This establishment may have stone experience, it has zero customer service, which is such an important factor when you are already dealing with the complexity of renovations. Everything the people of ATT do is centered around what works for THEM, and not the customer. We paid for a $5000 premium granite countertop, and they wanted us to approve a drawing that had a cut right in the middle of the island. Yes, right smack in the middle. No explanation as to why. When we refused to sign off on the drawing, they finally explained the reason they cut it in half was because the whole piece would not fit in our elevator. Why not place the seam on one side of the sink that has minimal seam appearance? We asked for different drawing to show a different cut, that was when they completely ignored all my communications for a week. No return of emails or phone calls. The woman that is supposedly the Manager is the absolute worst person to deal with. She is short and rude, use huge font in emails like she's yelling, and best of all just plain ignores the customer. We unfortunately had to burn a week of time and money simply because they refused to respond.
After the cabinetry company (who referred us to them) got involved, that was when something actually happened. Eventually, feeling like pulling teeth, they FINALLY agreed to put the seam on the other side of the sink which we suggested weeks ago. It's mind-boggling how a supposedly experienced stone company couldn't even come up with that recommendation to begin with. It was me, the amateur customer who knows nothing about granite countertops who had to make that professional recommendation to them. Didn't they tout they had 17 years of expert experience? Last but not least, ATT provides one day notice to when the measurement and installation dates will take place, with no regards to the customer's work schedules. It is again what works for THEM.
At the end of the day, we do business with human beings, not stone. There are many other stone companies that have superb workmanship AND outstanding customer service, not ATT. If you want to get things done efficiently your way as a customer, please do yourself a favour, avoid ATT Stoneworks. They will waste your time, and not look out for your best interest throughout the process. After all, they just want to make a quick buck doing what's the easiest for them. read more
