However, weDry Restoration were much more attentive, better priced, did a much better job, and were friendlier. They were very understanding to the needs elderly parents's flooded basement the area recently had. My parents are in their 80's, and, could not have been more happier with weDry Restorations, and neither could I.

The other company came out, seemed knowledgeable, looked around the house a little (didn't go into the attic or do a deep inspection) and did an air mold test. The test showed high levels of Pen/Asp mold group in the master bedroom but the other company was unable to come back for almost two weeks and could not provide an exact quote until they came back. Due to my autoimmune issues and the symptoms I was having, we did not want to wait that long. That is when we contacted weDry. I was very overwhelmed due to the situation and first spoke with Amy, who was very kind and understanding. Even though she was professional, she made me feel comfortable, like I was talking to a friend instead of just a business. She was able to have someone out right away to do an inspection. When Mike came out to do the inspection, not only was he also kind and professional, he was extremely thorough. Pulling back the carpeting and padding in the closet, going up into the attic to look around, and even looking through all of the basement insulation. I was very impressed with the time and effort he put in to finding the source of the mold smell. WeDry was able to get a detailed quote back same day that showed a breakdown of every single expense so you know exactly where your money is going. I was also impressed by how quickly I would receive email responses from Amy or that she would touch base to see how I was doing. The cause of the mold ended up being due to an outside issue and our HOA stepped in to handle the repairs, using their own company. However, if Amy and Mikes work ethic are a reflection of weDry Restoration and the rest of their team and services, then I would say they are an outstanding company and believe that other companies should take a page from their book.

The water ruined carpeting, and leaked down into the first floor dining room ceiling and beyond. Floors had to be dried, furniture moved, carpet and ceiling replaced, and ceiling and walls repainted. The entire Paul Davis team was wonderful. From remediation, reconstruction, and back to normal, they all did great work! I was very impressed and pleased. I have expensive dining room furniture that I was particularly concerned about. It, as well as bedroom furniture, had to be carefully moved to different rooms. I can be quite particular, but each guy was careful and attentive to my concerns and listened well to my apprehension regarding packing fragile china, moving the heavy dining furniture, being careful not to scratch it, rehanging a heavy mirror, etc. Thanks to Mike, Ryan, Carter, and Kyle. I was also worried about seams showing when the new ceiling drywall was installed, but Justin did an expert job installing and painting it and the walls. It looks great! George, who removed the old carpet and laid the new, also did beautiful work. In addition, they were pleasant, respectful and nice people to deal with. I highly recommend them! Thanks to a great team: Jeff S. (remediation), Mike LaMore (project supervisor & reconstruction estimator), Justin (drywall and painting), George (carpet), Carter, Ryan and Kyle. Thanks! - Liza

The pipe thawed and sent water gushing into our basement two days after installing the furnace. We were SO discouraged! Paul Davis Restoration was fast, professional, and encouraging. The mitigation team did a great job removing damaged floors and walls and started the drying out process. About 2 weeks later after requesting things to get moving a estimate was performed and a few days after that the reconstruction program manager came by for about a hour answered some of our questions and said he would have the flooring and painting team reach out to me in the day or so. I sent information on some items that were on sale we would like have ordered to be installed in our master bath and to get them purchased. Those items were drop shipped a few weeks later. After numerous text and calls over a 3 week period no one else reached out to me. I shared my disappointment and reached out for the Director of construction to reach out to me with no return calls or emails. I even reached to others with the company to relay the message with no response after doing that. So I terminated Drymedic and had another contractor get started. Of course once I terminated their service, I was reached out to by Drymedic. I asked for the invoice for the vanity and faucets I had preordered so I could provide that to my insurance company for payment. Nothing was provided and I was told I would be billed. During reconstruction I also used the Drymedic pack out team for all of my contents. All of our belongings were packed and stored at their warehouse during the remodel of our home. At this point I was still willing to use their other services. Construction was completed about a month later by new contractors and all of my furnishings were brought back and unpacked by the Drymedic moving team. Insurance paid all of the fees for the Mitigation, Pack out, Storage return of my items. Contruction fees for the new contractors I had to hire. Forward to almost 4 months later I was just issued a final bill from DRYmedic for the vanity and faucets along with a bill based on 10% of written estimate charge of the whole construction job they previously quoted. I was told if I did not pay the bill it would be turned over to collections.

Drymedic contacted me because my agent gave them my phone number. I needed them for the rebuild. They sent a man out and he seemed real helpful. He took all the information and pictures and said they would contact me once everything was reviewed. I waited a week and then tried to find out what was going on. I sent emails, text, and voice mail messages. I received no call back, email or text. So, I waited till the next Monday and ended up calling another company. I can't tell you what kind of work they do. All they had to do is send me a text, saying they couldn't do the work. It's unacceptable to leave someone hanging.

Him and I had dates set and on those dates, he was not responsive. I sent him texts, emails, and called multiple times and never ever heard back from him. He lied about everything. I understand that some contractors have too much work than they can handle but this was a poor way to show customers you care. Our project was about 40k so you'd think they'd be interested in getting the job done but no. I would not recommend this company. Nothing but lies. It's people like Brett that give contractors a bad name and rep.

His subcontractors ruined our siding on rear of home, left the rain boot off the electrical conduit when they installed roof and ruined the electrical panel when it rained and froze. Broke a brand new slab of granite after it was installed and tried not to pay for it, tried to Install an A.C. unit that was not the one quoted (smaller and cheaper), left drywall patches unfinished and used the wrong size drywall all together on the walls. I had to start video recording our property 24/7 just to see what was happening because it was such a circus and just so unbelievable. I have piles of pictures and emails to coordinate this story. I had a friend use him for an FHA rehab project also and the same thing happened to him and Brett actually walked off the job and left it unfinished and up to my friend to finish in time before the bank deadline. Bottom line is Brett got us for $26,000, DO NOT LET IT happen to you!
