Very through and professional…read more As I get older it seems like I'm experiencing a loss of hearing particularly in the high frequencies however my wife refers to it as "Selective Hearing". In any case, it seems that it was time to confirm or deny there was a problem and if there was, do something about it. My appointment was at 8:00 this morning and when I arrived shortly before 8:00, there was already a number of folks ahead of me. Being a new patient, I was give a stack of papers to sign giving medical history and consent to treat etc. Took about 10 minutes and within a couple of minutes of turning it in, my name was called. First step was with an audiologist who gave a very comprehensive exam, second was with someone I assume was a PA for Medical History and them with the Physician himself. Very efficient and both the Audiologist and the Physician took great lengths to explain their findings and made sure I could understand. Bottom line is I am a candidate for hearing aids. Not required at this stage but it comes down to a quality of life thing and do I really want to hear what my wife says. Answer of course is yes so I'm going to op to give them a try. In the meantime, I give this office very high marks for the quality of care they provide.

I''ve been a patient for 6 or so years now and the reason I became a patient was how awful the office staff was at my previous physicians office. Botched appointments, prescriptions not called in, etc, etc. The staff at UMA however is on top of things in all respects. Dr. McCune is not the only physician at the practice but is the only one I see so, can't comment on others. He is awesome though. Friendly manner, thorough in his approach. I trust him implicitly with my health care and recommend Dr. McCune and UMA highly.

I went in today to be seen for a toe break over a month ago that hasn't resolved on its own, simply because I haven't been able to rest/elevate and Ice as much as I should have. Front desk was "meh," but doctor was knowledgeable. Once in the exam room, I was given a price that was a bit higher than the price quoted on the phone (x-rays). I expressed my disappointment and was met by the Clinic Manager, who explained that there were several different types, and they were not explained over the phone. She was GREAT. Empathetic and knowledgeable. I applaud that she sees human beings at their worst, and manages to talk people down from the ledge on a regular basis. I was x-rayed, informed, and even received a DVD copy of the x-ray. I 100% recommend this urgent care, and will return.... if I must!

Brian Jammel saw me and was very empathetic and caring. He recommended a medication and said this would immediately help with the symptoms and make me feel better. He offered a prescription card through Pfizer and said there were times insurance didn't cover the medication and to use this card if I needed it. I really appreciated this because I would not of had the funds to pay out-of-pocket for that medication. As it turned out I needed the card as my insurance did not cover it. So thank you so much for that. Brian was very caring and made sure I didn't have any questions before I left and took very good care of me.  I highly recommend this  urgent care.

My experience with Kevin Costello was very negative. See below -…read more 1. I had a double lumbar fusion in 2017. I've been in pain management for four years as I suffer from significant lower back pain and nerve pain in my legs on a daily basis 2. I saw Kevin Costello for first time last week. He said only treatment he could offer me is a Spinal Cord Stimulator surgery and was not receptive to any other treatments. This was disappointing as there are other modalities out there to treat lower back pain that are less costly and less invasive. Also, my insurance will not cover a Spinal Cord Stimulator surgery until other treatment options have been exhausted. 3. In summary, I felt Kevin Costello and his staff dismissed me as I am young (35 years old) and failed to offer fundamental pain management services. I could not have been more insulted and will never recommend this guy or Southeast Pain and Spine to anyone suffering from chronic pain.
