Dr. V saw me this morning for initial assessment and brought me back in the afternoon for my first epidural injection. It was easy peasy. Just a little pressure, not painful. Will hope for results within a week. The second injection will be done in two weeks. This clinic was filled with patients. So many people out here in pain. It's been awhile since I was there (early 2024) and have seen such a plethora of other unsatisfactory physicians in the interim that I cannot recall if he prescribed any of the generally ineffective and commonly prescribed "pain" meds at all such as Lyrica. I wasn't looking for any of the dog and pony circus of treatment with opiates at that time being I was already well aware of the pitfalls of that such as it is impossible to even obtain a sufficiently high enough dosage to be worth my while to try them again. Therefore, instead I just lay down a lot, hire people to do my housework @ 30 bucks per hour, cannot even stand at my sink more than 5 minutes to wash my own dishes, have to pay someone to drive my dogs to the dog groomers being I still cannot even bend over my own laundry sink long enough to bathe my own 5 and 6 lb dogs, plus of course I have major problems simply bending over to pick things up off my floor - pretty pathetic really as I actually know myself how to fix these things.
