I did as I was instructed and she used her skills to work hair magic. She took her time and blended my hair and had me looking amazing in a short period of time. I came in for a wash and set and even brought my own products, along with two clip-in extensions that simply needed to be rinsed and dried. I specifically told the stylist that I didn't want excessive heat on my hair. She assured me that the process would be quick and that she would use products to protect my hair. The clip-ins had already been washed beforehand. All I needed was for them to be rinsed and allowed to dry under the dryer. Since I noticed the service was moving slowly, I decided to take the clip-ins home and straighten them myself rather than continue waiting. No rollers, blow-dry, or flat ironing were done on the clip-ins by the salon. When it came time to pay, I was shocked to be charged $90. I was told the additional cost was because of my extra hair, despite the fact that very little was actually done to the clip-ins. I simply cannot justify that pricing based on the service provided. To make matters worse, I left with my hair smelling burnt, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid when I expressed my concerns about heat. Had I not been pressed for time and needing my hair done for an event, I would have just made the trip to my regular salon. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet my expectations, and I won't be returning.

My hair was so burned that it was impossible to comb through without it completely breaking off. My hair felt like rubber bands and looked like stretched out winterfresh gum. I was crying for hours. After all the time and money, I didn't take it out thinking it would be OK, but NOPE, my edges are gone. Brian's short cuts are always amazing. One day I went to get a retouch and he left the salon. The man he left there, I don't believe he was qualified to handle my hair, left the perm in too long and my crown has never been the same. I had to go to a dermatologist and get steroid shots for months to grow my hair back. Unfortunately, after years of growth my hair fell out again due to how bad the chemical burn was.

I looked up the directions and texted that I would now be late, as it was a 25 minute walk. He called back stating it was "only an $8 uber." When I responded that it was ok, I would not be paying for the service as well as the uber, he hung up on me mid sentence. I texted back stating that it was unprofessional to hang up on me, and requested that I not be charged for the service cancellation. His response verbatim was: "If was listening to what I was trying to tell you . Is to take uber and would have took off whatever you paid " There was never an apology, or any customer service whatsoever to indicate this, only hanging up and mentioning how much the uber was. He had 4.7 stars on StyleSeat, since I'm assuming you can only leave a review if the appointment wasn't cancelled.
