I went in with healthy hair. Left with heat damage. The service I got was a wash, blow dry, and trim. I went back to the salon and explained the situation but they tried to claim that my heat damage was "not heat damage"... and that I needed to give it about a month for my hair to return to normal. It's been a month... my heat damage is still heat damage LOL. I received a refund however the staff refused to take ownership of their mistake. I normally wear my hair in an afro so I'm very careful about who I let near my hair so this situation is very upsetting. read more

I wish i could leave this poor excuse of a hairstylist Christina a ZERO for a rating. I had a 9am appointment for today that i booked over 3 weeks ago to secure my spot being that im going away on vacation the next day. She assured me i would be taken care of. I go to my appointment and find a CLOSED SALON. I call her and she tells me she had a "family emergency" and had to book a flight but little Ms. Not Too Smart posted a picture on her instagram of a weekend getaway with her significant other. Not only did she lie on the family emergency she also lied and told me that someone was suppose to call me to cancel my appointment. It took me so long to even book this appointment because whenever i would try to contact her she would never respond. This is lady is 1000% NOT RELIABLE, OVERRATED, AND OVERPRICED !!! I can I even describe how great my experience was. I had been following Christina on Instagram for over a year and was a little nervous to go to her because I am so insecure about my hair; the texture, the length like just my general hair health! I'm natural and go between braids, wigs and weaves. Christina me feel so comfortable and she really saved my hair! She squeezed me in on a busy Friday for a weave and took great care of me. It's 3 weeks later and my hair (seriously...my leave out is still laaaaaaid!) still looks amazing. I highly recommend Christina! I wasn't sure how my hair would look since I was suffering with some postpartum hair loss but she made me fall in love with my hair. The plus side is the salon isn't far from where I live! I was referred to Christina (Belle Cheveux Studios) by Patrice of Indique. I gave her a call and I explained my hair dilemma with her. I also suggested stopping by to meet her in person and discuss it further. I met with her, she took a look at my hair, I explained to her what I wanted from her and she said she can do it. I immediately liked her confidence because right off the bat, she said "oh, you'll like it." That I liked about her. We scheduled an appointment, which was done in the computer and I returned two days later. She received me immediately and we go the ball rolling. Being there for several hours allows clients to become very familiar with their stylist -- since this person is (somewhat) now in charge of your hair. She was really cool and down to earth. We chatted, laughed, acted silly and all of that. I felt really comfortable with her, like she was my homegirl. Her shop was clean, her demeanor was professional and the staff were just a cool. I spent several hours in her chair and it was a totally enjoyable experience and laid-back atmosphere. When she was done, I was extremely pleased with my hair style. She put it down!!! It was my first time going to this salon, and it was such a nice experience. I truly appreciate Christina honesty and hard work. My hair is a mess of colors and I was trying to go silver, she lifted my hair without damaging it, and told me it would have to be in another season to get the hair color I wanted. I thanked her for telling me the truth and doing her best to get close to what I wanted without damage. Other places would of left my hair in bad condition and not explain the process like she did. Patrice from Indique extensions referred me to the owner Christina to do my hair since May 2015. Therefore I have decided to take a try and go to her salon. I started noticing that she as unprofessional after my third visit to Christina. I am never the one to write a review, but this time Christina topped it off for me. I called in advance to explain to her receptionist (some high school girl) of the service I needed to be done. Mind you I never had a problem with the receptionist, she is good at scheduling what I need. More upsetting than that is that I waited for Christina for an 1 hour and half to get my hair done. Christina had the nerve to tell me that she was too tired to do my hair. She said that I should of asked the receptionist to speak to her. Christina, why the hell do you have a receptionist. Really? Now lets put the icing on the cake after Christina said she was too tired she said, "I can braid your hair down and you can sew on your hair at home. I forgot to mention that my hair was washed and conditioned/treated at home. Said to Christina, "ok you can sew it down and I will sew my hair at home. When I went to sit at her chair she said, "Oh no I can't do it because than I will have to blow dry your hair and I cant braid your hair like this". In addition, it never fails after a client is gone and pay Christina, she always have something negative to say about customers. She would even talk to me about customers and I felt uncomfortable because I think she talks about me to. Christina do not care. She even talks bad about good paying customers. Christina, you are the most unprofessional stylist I know. You should go back to working at someone eases salon. Christina's work ethic is poor. I will never come back to this salon again. She will not earn my money. I could give this salon/Christina a negative number I would. She and her salon does not deserve a zero, this is how bad she is .
