Atomix Salon is by far a 10/10 in every way-from one of the best hair stylists you'll ever meet to the amazing vibes that will make your experience both fun and enjoyable! Whatever your requests and wishes may be, Rachel will be sure to deliver with an amazing cut and beautiful, saturated colors. After getting in contact with Rachel, I sent her reference pictures of the look I was going for. My hair is naturally a dark, wavy brown and I wanted to experiment with some caramel highlights. When I arrived at the salon, she got started on lightening my hair for highlights with a round of bleach, proceeded with the color, and voila-my hair was highlighted a beautifully vibrant copper just in time for Spooky season! I appreciate all the time Rachel took in doing my hair, as the overall process was no small feat and took at least a couple hours. In the end it was worth it and I couldn't be happier! When my hair was done a few weeks ago, it was initially more red/auburn than I expected it to be, but Rachel informed me that after a couple washes it would lighten into the coppery/caramel highlights I now have today. How?? Have I not left a review?? I think I've been going to Rachel now... three years? It's always difficult to find a stylist who would cut my hair as SHORT as I want it and make it look good. Rachel has always nailed everything I wanted, and there's something about the silhouette of the cuts she's done on me that's amazing, AND grows out really well! Long overdue review, since my appointment was on 9/21/21- and my hair still looks great! Rachel is truly a gem. She takes her time getting to know you and your hair, and listens to what you want done and gives you honest feedback. You genuinely feel like her attention is 100% on you and no one else when you're in her care. I have hair that I perceived to be very difficult to work on, and she took her time to explain what the plan was to achieve what I wanted with minimal damage to my hair. She was open about what is realistically achievable without compromising the health of my hair, all without being dismissive or condescending. The resulting color was even more beautiful and vivid than I had hoped and to top it off she gave me a gorgeous cut too. Weeks after my appointment , I reached out with some follow-up questions about how to maintain my hair until I can make another appointment, which I wouldn't be able to do for some time due to an upcoming trip, and she got back to me with great tips for caring for my hair at home.
