I have gotten service here before and don't experience anything wrong. Today I went in with my daughters and just thought we weren't greeted due to the women being busy. My girls and I are brown complex. After sitting there for about 15/20 minutes and pretty peach woman walked in and she was greeted and asked what serves she wanted. My oldest child looked and me and I looked at the worker and instructed my girls to get up and we were going to leave. I put the polish back, although I wanted to just leave them be and we left. To any "Light/dark BROWN" people I say to avoid this nail salon. It hurt my feelings to see my girls disappointed. Please do better!!! read more

Went here September 2nd and my acrylics came off September 30th! That is awesome! One did break and tore my nail with it, but that is on me. That nail glue is strong! I had the owner (the man) do my nails and he was super gentle! I almost fell asleep several times it was amazing! He also asked me if I wanted acrylics or just dip on my natural nails. I thought my nails were too short, but next time I'll go with my natural nails. The workers are all super sweet and adorable! I wish I could give this shop a 0.5 star rating! Rude owner and I don't think they know how to do nails. I came in for a fill... that was all. No design, no color change just a fill (which is btw is $15).They cut my nails all different length and they changed the shaped that I liked and I asked to keep the same shape. I had ombré nails originally and it was going from nice pink to a white. Now it looks patchy and goes from dark pink to light pink to another dark pink and to a little bit of white. They look terrible. After they put a gel top coat on and I got it out of machine I had bumps all over 2 of my nails. The owners fix to that was is to file it away and not to put another coat of polish on. So now I have two nails that are without top coat (filled) and the rest that are shiny. As I said they charge $15 for fill and somehow I ended up being charged $30! My nails now look worse then before I went there! We have been coming to Atoka Nails before Covid as a family spa day when I visit from Nevada. My daughter and I gets pedicures and my two small granddaughters just gets polish on their hands and toes. We just visited on July 1st. Just hours after getting our nails done my grandkids nail polish was peeling off. It only lasted for one day. On top of that, they charged me $25 for one grandkid and $20 for another for just nail polish. They got nothing special one wanted alternating colors of blue and pink. I asked why so high and she said two colors, it wasn't two colors on the same nails. They over charged me big time. $45 for two small kids nail polish. I paid with a card and she did ask how much cash I had on me like she was going to give me a break. My total was $115 for two adult pedicures and two small children's polish. I told her I had $100 cash, now grant I already tipped out each girl $8 each times three. So then she said oh I can't cancel the transaction. Sorry. I guess if you pay cash they will charge you less. They do charge $1 fee to use card which I am fine for paying. But if you are going to overcharge your customers at least get good products. One day the polish lasted. We won't be back. We will drive further to Millington now when I visit Atoka. read more

My wife goes here all the time. I get a pedicure while she gets her nails done. If someone thinks they are rude then they are sadly mistaken. Linda and Kenny are very nice and very friendly. They are from Vietnam and Linda is always joking with everyone. My wife loves her nails being done and I love my pedicures. read more

Would not recommend Atoka Nails. I was there for a total of 2.5 hours and only 2 people were in front of me. Owner is very crass when dealing with customers and charges what she wants, so don't bother looking at the prices beforehand. A lady who was getting her nails done beside me got burned twice by the drill and the owner tried to blame the customer for it, saying she did it to herself instead of just apologizing for it. Will not be going back here again!! read more

I got my nails done paid for Jail they started coming off within an hour and start peeling the guy who did my nails was coughing in my face I had to leave several times while he was doing my nails and then I called them this evening and ask about it they said come in and they were do the ones that was messed up. I came in and then the girl comes up and tells me all this this is this is not Jail this is not Jail but they charged me for gel and so she just said she couldn't redo them and even took one of them off And so very unkind and very rude plus now I have a cold from the guy coughing in my face. This is poor customer service and I definitely will not ever go back there. Other nail shops in Atoka are a lot better than this one that's with my first visit and it definitely will be my last visit read more

Ok, let me just say, this is the best and most inexpensive pedi/mani I have ever had! They took their time with cutting and shaping and didn't get polish everywhere. Not to mention they were engaging and friendly, great customer service. Found my go to nail place! read more

I just need to vent..several weeks ago, I posted a request about nail salons in the area, wanting to support local businesses! Atoka nails was mentioned so I booked an appointment early morning! A pedicure for me, is a rare treat, and supposed to be relaxing, and enjoyable...well, not here! The woman, suppose she is the owner , was not very pleasant to start with, I was the first customer, but one woman came in and sat down next to her, and she spent more time talking to her about her next choice of nail polish, than she did taking care of mine! I have an ingrown toenail, which she proceeded to dig out with no concern that she was hurting me, the nail later became infected! She slapped on one coat of polish, after massaging both legs at one time. The last fifteen minutes, I sat with my cold feet on the ledge of the sink, watching her start manicures on two other people, Finally, a little girl came up and removed the toe separators, and went to the cash register! The owner never looked up, or said thank you for your business, so I left..toe hurting, pitiful excuse for a pedicure, and thoroughly pissed off! Sorry...I'll take my business back to Cordova, where at least you are treated as the only customer at the time of your appointment! A little more expensive, plus the gas to drive there, but it will be worth it. I would not recommend this shop to anyone...my rating is minus twenty..Pam read more
