He asked if he could use the circuit for the electric range or electric dryer to replace the hot tub breaker because he said there was damage where the old circuit breaker was located. I agreed. I was not using my refrigerated air conditioner at the time because I was running a swamp cooler. However, when I used my air conditioner it only blew out hot air. I called someone to repair it. He said my air conditioner had been disconnected. My air conditioner circuit had been disconnected and the hot tub had been connected to that circuit. I called the plumber and asked that I be reimbursed for the expense of fixing his mistake and he claimed he was retired and no longer in business.

They came out for for a quote and check what we needed. When the consult and quote was done, within 2 days we were scheduled and installation began. The crew was professional and quick with the work. Now, we have a system that is so much more comfortable and keeps all rooms at a constant temperature. Five rooms, 5 room systems and 2 outside units with all electrical and ductwork was done in 1 1/2 days. The cool part of the system is it's controlled by remote, and there's one in each room, but if one is lost, they work on the rest, Awesome thing about this system, each room can be set to heat, cool and automatic control. You set the temp you want (all function controlled by remote control) and how powerful you want the fan, you can set it to sweep back and forth etc... One thing I do want to say that I was able to dictate the placement of the unit in our bedroom. Although it may have been easier for the crew to place the unit a wall closer to the outside unit, I requested another wall so I did not have to move family pictures and special things. The owner told me, that I had to live with it, so they would do what I wanted. I'm disabled and having thing's comfortable isn't always easy. The cost of this system is worth every penny. The speed of process from time of initial contact to completion was about a week. Thanks to the crew who came out and made our home more comfortable. We got it just in time for a really cold, snowy and windy storm and all the rooms were so comfy. They are a professional, knowledgeable, and polite crew.

It ended up being a huge job but the price was fair and they were friendly and efficient. Last night my AC stopped working (yes THAT 100 degree day). Now a few months ago it was having issues and I fixed those. And the night before it had stopped and I had diagnosed it as a dead themostat batteries(chanbe your batteries annually). That fixed it for 24 hours but then it stopped again. So I put in better batteries, still nothing. Checked the breakers etc. I thought I'd checked everything. Saturday we randonly called from a Yelp listing and it turned out to be the same Daniel's. for a 290 dispatch fee they sent a guy out in 2 hours. The good part, he fixed it in 10 seconds. The bad part was that the problem was a loose fan door which I had looked at but hadn't closed as tightly as possible. When the fan had restarted the night before it must have loosened the door. Doesn't matter, the tech Daniel, but not the THE Daniel came fast and fixed the problem and didn't charge more than the dispatch fee. The technician cleaned the coil, found a failed capacitor, and installed a Turbo 200X capacitor and start assist. The charge was $831.40 on a single, non-itemized line. The same Turbo 200X capacitor sells for about $80 on Amazon. I contacted Daniels and gave them an opportunity to explain both the invoice and their pricing. I was told a manager would call me. No manager ever did. I also noticed that the one-star reviews I found repeatedly mention excessive pricing, which unfortunately is consistent with my experience. $831 for a routine maintenance visit that resulted in a new capacitor is an extraordinary charge, more than the benchmark for Albuquerque, and well above industry standards. The lack of itemization and the failure to respond when I asked for an explanation make this even more concerning. I would strongly advise homeowners to get a second opinion and an itemized estimate before authorizing any repair with Daniels. Based on my experience, I would not use this company again.
