They put pads on you for electrolysis or whatever so you're pulling up your shirt and pulling down your pants in the middle of what is like a mini gym. It just doesn't feel very HIPAA compliant. It seems they should add more treatment rooms or always use the ones they have. The music is probably the worst part. "Recent hits" playing the whole time, not relaxing at all. I'm there listening to like Meghan Trainor and my therapist is massaging at the same beat of that horrible repetitive song. I felt like I was stuck in a TikTok and couldn't scroll. The staff is very nice. The place seems clean.

Billing is the absolute worst. I just got a bill for $100, called them, they said part of it was for an MRI I had done over a year ago. Then she says did you pay anything then? I said, I'm sure I don't remember. She looks and then says "oh it looks like you prepaid $89 I'll move that over." So you're telling me I had $89 just sitting somewhere for over a year!?! Call your insurance and ask them what they think about Geisinger. Also, they now send you a bill before you even see your doctor, hoping that you will pay it. You're never gonna get any of that back even if you never owed it, unless you call them and try to get it back. I'm telling you they do it all the time. And if you ask them what the charge above and beyond your co-pay is, they say it's in case they do other things while you're there. Run. Anywhere but Geisinger!!!
