When searching for a therapist, I found it very difficult to find someone who was willing to travel and provide services onsite. Deb brings her supplies and equipment with her and has been creative at finding a good space to work with Mom. She works on her neck, back, legs and feet. What wonderful thing to know that Mom gets a visit from someone once a week who is caring, gentle and experienced at providing massage for someone with severe osteoarthritis. Visiting assisted living can be a challenge that wouldn't interest many therapists. Deb has said that she enjoys working with Mom and wants so much to make her feel good. I live 3,000 miles from my Mom and have found Deb to be a godsend. She even sends me a short text with an update after Mom's appointment. I wanted peace but all I heard was several women chatting it up, laughing,...And I mean,,,clear as day. On top of all that, part of my experience was to include red light therapy. I have a red light at home. You can't cover it up. They tried to tell me that there was a blanket over the red light therapy in that room. Red light therapy cannot have a blanket over it. I think that there was no red light therapy in the salt room. And they're charging you for things you aren't getting that they don't even have available in the salt room. I really don't think they will be around long. The whole experience was terrible, from not being able to relax due to the loud people outside the door, to the things I paid for but didn't get, to the fact that she outride lied to my face about there being red light there in that room. I do know they have red light therapy elsewhere, but it honestly came down to feeling like she was Nick and diamond and trying to get money for things.
