The first company (not adding name) came first and their technician took many pictures, but never went up on the roof only on ladder and never went inside above the garage to see if there was any leaking damage inside. He sent me an estimate to repair the flashing and shingles around vent for $828. Langley Roofing came a few days after and Aaron checked the space above the garage and took pictures from the inside, went up on the roof and did a very thorough inspection. He determined that the original roofer did not add Caulking around the back of the vent. Aaron ask my husband for some Caulking and he added the caulking around the area which took him a few minutes. Aaron was extremely thorough and did this work as a favor to us. He saved us $820, but more important, he was honest!! I will use Langley Roofing when ever I need a roofing company!

Even though several different roofing companies that looked at it said there was storm damage. I had purchased the house in September, 2021. Henry called promptly to set a time to come to get his measurements for his quote and bring samples and references. While his quote was not the lowest, it seemed comprehensive. We selected Mendez Construction after reviewing all the quotes received. He was able to start and complete the work in two days time. They started working early on the first day and worked until dark. They started early the next morning and were finished and gone by dark. They thoroughly cleaned the area all round the house and hauled away all shingles and trash, including running a magnet sweeper all around to pick up nails. I gave them another opportunity to work on installing siding on the house. He came out and told me they would give me a call with the bid. After some days had passed, I had to call them back to ask about the bid. He stated that he would call me back, but never did. I called again, and he requested we meet on a Saturday (required me to drive from out of town) to make sure we go over everything. We scheduled a meeting time, and I drove in the night before to meet him. The meeting time was at 10:00 AM. This time had passed, and after several calls from me, he texted me an hour later saying that he was not going to be able to meet me but would meet the next day. I replied back with a text explaining how I no longer want to use their company due to the lack of professionalism and courtesy shown. I did thank him for showing me this now rather than later. People really need to call out companies like this to help others from making mistakes from so-called "Professionals".
