During the spring A/C tune-up, Todd asked me if we had any concerns about our systems. I mentioned the unit seemed to be cycling a little more frequently than normal. Todd found our coolant was a little low and a part needed to be replaced. Todd called the warranty company and secured immediate authorization for needed repairs. The unit has been working fine since. Today, Todd and his apprentice came out for our furnace tuneup and everything was cleaned and checked ok. It was clear to me that Todd is very knowledgeable and is an excellent and patient mentor to his apprentice. He treats his customers and employees with respect and integrity. Thanks for a job well done.

If COOL OPERATORS will assist in defrauding consumers they most certainly will do it to their own customers.

Neil on all occasions gave me excellent advice, and he kept my appliances alive! Five years ago, we did some remodeling in our kitchen which included all new appliances. Because we preferred black stainless steel, we purchased all Bosch equipment because we felt the quality of their black stainless steel was superior to others on the market. My major concern with our decision was that I didn't think Allmake repaired Bosch. Last week I discovered a piece of rubber sheeting hanging down at the base of my dishwasher. I went online to check Allmake's website and was so happy to see Bosch is now on their list! Zoh came to take care of the issue, and he also helped attach some equipment to a rack we replaced for the dishwasher. This was the first time that Zoh came to my rescue! As always, I continue to highly recommend Allmake for all appliance repairs. They are definitely the BEST!!!

In February, they told me that the cost to replace a board in the furnace was $850.00 in one of my rental properties . In the past if they quoted me a price of $850.00 the bill would be $850.00. This time in February billed me $1125.14 after quoting $850.00. When I asked to talk to the owner's daughter, the lady on the phone said that the owners daughter was on vacation and she would call me back in a week. I called again in March and asked to talk to Carrie, the owner's daughter. The same lady again said that Carrie is on vacation and she will call me back the following week. I still have not heard from Carrie. The crazy part is the February bill had a traveling charge! They have never charged me anything called traveling charge. On February 11th no one in the service industry had a traveling charge! Since I was a customer for over 15 years and Carrie and her family has provided excellent service, when I have been asking them to call me back for over 2 months, I am of the opinion that the business was sold and the new owners are not honorable. Their words don't mean a thing to them , examples: 1) Quoting me a price of $850 and charging me $1125.14 2) Telling me twice that Carrie or her father would call me back and have not. 3) Telling me Carrie is on vacation 3 times in l than two months!

Astro Illinois (Appliance) Services in Lake Zurich was assigned by our home warranty provider, American Home Shield/AHS, to diagnose & fix the sudden failure of the freezer section of our Sub-Zero kitchen refrigerator. First diagnostic visit required 2+ hours, lasting from late afternoon 'til early evening, and they found a leaking Freon line. After getting approval from AHS the next day, they returned to do the fix--again requiring a 2-hour afternoon/evening visit--but in the process discovered the compressor unit had also failed! Another next-day repair approval from AHS led to a third visit to replace the compressor, this one taking from 5pm to ~8:30pm. While some might see this episode as frustrating, we appreciate and applaud Astro Illinois Services' dedication to investigating serious problem(s) thoroughly and taking whatever time is required to get things back to working as they should.

It was borderline impossible to have an intelligent conversation about the issue and potential fix. It was through my home warranty so I didn't have a choice but when I asked for a different technician to come they still sent the same guy. Even when I showed him VIDEO of the issue happening in real time it was like talking to a wall. He gave me some BS about it being fine, AFTER SHOWING HIM THE VIDEO. Not only that but they supposedly ordered a new part and he didn't even install it because he was there for 3 minutes and said "is no leak" even though I tried to explain to him that it happens at the end of the cycle. So now I had to call and demand a new company completely to come through my warranty provider because it's been over 5 weeks of the same back and forth.
