I am a realtor, and basement issues are a frequent source of contention for buyers and sellers…read more That's exactly what happened to my seller in Arlington Heights, IL. Foundation leak! I called Braden from Quickfix. I told him, we are past estimates, we need it fixed. I knew, I could trust Braden to give my client the best price around. Braden and Campbell did a full inspection, working off the attorney review letters and inspection reports to be sure nothing was missed, and no unnecessary work was added on. The next day, Jarrod and Campbell arrived on time, both very professional and accommodating. They went above and beyond, even moving some furniture; not because it was necessary to do the repairs, but simply to help my seller. Buyers and sellers get extremely anxious when they hear "foundation leak, foundation crack, basement proofing.." because they fear massive repair bills, or even the total demise of the contract. Braden and Campbell really alleviated my sellers worries: "It is not as bad as the report makes it sound, we have seen this many times. We will take care of this and our work is guaranteed." And true to their word, they remedied the issues in one morning, the bill was absolutely reasonable and the attorneys signed off. This wasn't the first time they did work for one of my clients. I find them to be a great company in McHenry county for this type of work. I will always confidently recommend them to my clients, fellow real estate agents and hire them for my own basement. [and p.s. I don't live in CA as it says for some reason ;) ]

Braden takes the time to educate you on the process of how he and his team will fix the issue. Not only was he professional but he was always responsive and on time. He's upfront about costs and will find ways to work with your budget. I have added before and after photos.

He was thorough in his investigation of the problem and did his best to fix our chimney with the most economical and lasting quality solution. I highly recommend!

I'm very disappointed with my experience with this company. I felt like the salesman who came out…read morerecommended a significant amount of work that was unnecessary, and the repair they ultimately offered was extremely overpriced in my opinion. The price they quoted me was around $3,000, and I've included some pictures below. What concerns me most is the lack of trust I now have in their recommendations. I previously hired this company to do tuckpointing work for me. About three years later, I contacted them about touching up a few areas, and I was told the work was already in bad shape. When I reminded them that they were the ones who had performed the original work, the response was essentially, "Oh, we can just repair these couple of bricks. It's not a big deal." After that experience, and now being presented with what I believe is an unnecessarily expensive repair, I simply don't feel comfortable doing business with this company anymore. When you hire a company and spend good money on their work, you expect fair pricing, honest recommendations, and quality workmanship. Unfortunately, that's not the experience I had.
