I've met with several different security companies and either the prices kept changing, the price…read morewas just high, or the process was complicated (the sales guy, wasn't the install guy, and then the install process involved multiple drilling points in my house and wireless versions were always an "add on" that was way to expensive). Greg came was in the neighbourhood and went through all the features, took the time to explain everything and the price was the price, there were some additional costs based on what I wanted but it was completely reasonable. He spent an hour the first day explaining options, 5-6 doing the install- perfectly, explaining as he went along (I am very picky and he really did a fantastic job, I should know- I work in telecommunications and know wire installation), then came back another day to review all the features and ensured I had all the aps installed in my phone and computer access. Seriously exceeding all expectations, he was professional, polite, and someone you can trust to care about the customer vs. his profit margins. And people please, if you're getting a security system, you get what you pay for so don't sit there and try to negotiate it to death. This whole process was a give and take, he could only do what I asked for and he really does listen. I would highly recommend Chase Security and Greg to come into your home, and have you feeling taken care of and secure in your home. OH and I got the Lynx 5200 system. Awesome job Greg!!! He used to be an installer for ADT and has installed thousands of home systems before. He now works for himself and has a small business. My mother-in-law moved to a care home and nobody knew her master code at her home. Her system was not used for a year. Greg came and professionally reset the system with a few tricks he knew (as the old Honeywell system happened to be from ADT Protectron). He did not try to pressure sell me on a monthly monitoring program, although he did offer that service as well. At my request, he replaced the old monitoring panel with an alpha numeric panel which is now much easier to determine what is going on compared to the old numeric code panel. He also installed a second horn which was ingeniously concealed. Intruders trying to smash the first horn would be confused as to why the horn is still going off and would continue trying to smash the first horn. He could have unnecessarily replaced the motion sensors but he said they were fine. Since the smoke detector and CO detector needed replacement because they were too old, Greg gave me the options and said it would be cheaper to buy them stand alone from Costco rather than replacing them in the alarm system. He disconnected them from the alarm system at my request. I did not bother to comparison shop for services as Greg was fair with his prices. People need to make a decent profit living in the Lower Mainland. I didn't want the hassle of a person making you feel guilty about not buying monitoring. He gave me all the price options and allowed me to make the decisions without any pressure at all. He doesn't have a fancy truck or van but came in his car. I highly recommend Greg. He's a good guy.
