The winery uses gravity flow to fill their tanks and you can see the system from the tasting room. While we were tasting I enjoyed watching the process. The person who did our tasting was great, full of information and answered all the questions we had about the wine and the region. The wines themselves I really enjoyed. The tasting process was cool as well as you chose what you wanted from the selections provided not a specific set of wines. That way we could try more wines between the two of us which was fun. The wines themselves were great. I enjoyed the crisp clean flavors and the influence the weather and soils gave to the wines. I wanted to join their club but with the current geopolitical issues going on that can't currently happen. We did however take a few bottles with us for later. I enjoyed Malivoire wine, and would recommend.

Another woman poured our tastings and was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable and presented the information to us in a way that was interesting and not at all boring. We enjoyed blanc de blanc, melon, viognier and Moira the best. We took a few bottles to go and were on our way. Cool spot, we will definitely come back on our next visit.

Call me a Cab has a great name but I couldn't finish the sample. Wife ordered a glass of Pink Bubbles that was the best of the wines tasted. We did buy a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Usually I buy a bottle or two from each vineyard we visit both to support their efforts and to take a second taste while not overlooking vines. My boyfriend enjoyed a tasting of reds and roses while I had a lovely specialty cocktail call the Peach Fritter Cocktail! Yes it came with a fritter on top!! This is what I love about smaller places: they take such pride in what they do, what they grow and what they produce. Three different people from the winery came to our table and made conversation with us. Unfortunately the experience wasn't quite what I was expecting or used to getting from wine tastings. It did start off well with the woman working the front desk. She was very attentive and helped us choose our experience. But once we got to the tasting room, it changed. The workers in the tasting room seemed like they didn't care to be there. Service was slow getting us set up as we were seated and left there for a bit before selecting our tasting. Our server was kind when bringing over the wines but maybe she was being spread thin as she was doing almost all of the tastings in the room / having to run around. We originally chose a window seat but moved soon after because there were so many flies that kept landing on us. Moving more inwards helped to an extent as there were quite a bit of black flies and fruit flies in the tasting room (fruit flies were landing in the wine). The wines were decent and had some unique offerings. Did end up buying a bottle of ice wine because it was a great, very sweet dessert wine. I think the experience would have been a lot better if more effort was taken by the estate on the amount of flies (adding traps or thick curtains blocking the tasting room to avoid flies getting in) and if service was more interested. Maybe having specific wine tasting times so the worker can be more involved? Another missed opportunity is the outside lookout over the vineyard is a small platform and a small tasting area in the middle of the parking lot. It would be so beautiful and enjoyable if there was a larger outdoor seating patio that you can sit and drink wine while looking over the vineyard / lake.
