My mother with dementia ended up going to an emergency room, and then immediately to a memory care facility. Regardless of the fact that we did not see this coming, extended family home care continued to bill for 2 weeks worth of services which was about 1,200+ only because they were not notified of cancelling services. We had two other home care agencies providing services and neither one of them had this unethical billing policy. On top of that, some of the caregivers did not seem to provide quality care. And also had inconsistent caregiving services, with some cancelling last minute or did not even had the right skill level to care for my mother.

They have too many patients and are too understaffed and disorganized to meet patients needs. My…read morenew sleep study was in Feb. The new machine was ordered in March. It took 5 months for me to finally receive my machine and that was only after me being my own case manager and calling around making things happen. They said they were missing my 2023 sleep study report to compare it to my 2026 sleep study report even though my doctors had sent them both in, they somehow lost the report that was sent to them in 2023 and instead of calling my doctor to get another one faxed to them they sat on the problem for months until I kept calling trying to get it resolved. I finally went to my doctor, got the 2023 report, then hand delivered it to my local Visalia Apria branch. Then I finally got my new machine a couple weeks later. The next problem was my mask that I received 6 months prior started leaking and I could not use the machine and it took months to get an authorization and finally receive new supplies. I was told I was non-compliant I asked how can I be compliant without functioning mask cushion that doesn't leak? So ya its been a ride with this agency. I finally have my new mask cushions and supplies and have exceeded their 70% compliance requirement so I am giving them 2 stars for finally getting their act together. But wow they need to hire more staff!

I never thought I would be in need of the services that Colorado Elder Care Solutions provides. But…read morerecently I found myself dealing with my husband's serious health and cognitive challenges. It's hard to describe the anxiety, overwhelm, sadness, and confusion that I experienced trying to do my best to care for his needs - and mine. I felt I was stretched beyond my ability to cope. I was extremely fortunate to have had Karen to guide and support me through situation after situation. She was not only extremely experienced and knowledgeable but was able to think clearly when I was not. I was so impressed with her demeanor - calm, caring and respectful. It is important to note that I never felt she was taking over. I experienced her as a partner who cared as much as I did about finding the best solutions. Her expertise was so impressive, knowing exactly what the next step should be and how I might best accomplish it. My whole experience was like a breath of much needed fresh air, giving me support, hope and the resources I needed to get through each challenge I was facing. I would not hesitate to entrust Colorado Elder Care with any one of my family members or friends. I have the utmost confidence that they would receive all that they need to facilitate the best outcome for all concerned.

My sister and I live out of state, over a thousand miles away, which made it very stressful managing his escalating needs. However, Colorado Eldercare Solutions found him a subsidized senior housing complex that was secure, located in a very walkable neighborhood of Englewood, and guided us in setting up support services for his medical and social needs. Simple things like a phone with larger buttons and easy to use message retrieval were helpful in ensuring we could communicate with our father. The medical box set up and monitoring system helped us manage his on-going and complex prescription needs. Additionally, she helped ensure he was getting proper nutrition and had a support system to check in on him to make sure he remained active and engaged in the community. I believe his quality of life was tremendously enhanced by the support and care they extended. And, I know it gave me greater piece of mind knowing that there was someone close who could make a visit to see how Dad was doing when we couldn't get in touch. I can recommend Colorado Elder Care solutions without any reservations.
