But Lucerito "Lucy" Dominquez is by far the rudest person, to know she's a reflection of the company is stomach turning to say the least! I initially called in for my Saturday 1/10 & Sunday 1/11 shifts on Thursday 1/8 due to my vehicle catching fire. Although my replacement parts arrived early on Thursday 1/8/26 I wasn't going to have my vehicle repaired in time. To have Kelly from the office call me back Friday 1/9/26 and state they're extremely short staffed, can't find anyone to cover my shifts and need me to be there. She then expressed she'd see about getting me an Uber & call me back. No call back ever happened. So I called around 5:07pm Friday 1/9 after I got off my full time job to see what's going on. Since my Saturday shift started at 7am. I spoke to Lucy who stated she'd call me back once she finds the email explaining the details of the game plan for my shift. I never received a call back, text, email, etc. I go to bed & don't think anything about my shift since I initially called in and have the supporting documents. She calls & wakes me up this morning Saturday 1/10/26 at 6:13am with an attitude talking about to call the office & let her know when I'm ready to head to work, so they can order an Uber for me. I reminded her again, even though she's apart of scheduling that my shift starts at 7am and she said she'd call me back last night & never did. Then with an attitude she states I NEED to make my shift! I re-explain the whole situation to her & tell her I don't need her attitude first thing in the morning, especially since she just woke me up and my shift is suppose to start at 7am. Also to remember this is my part time job & they need me due to them being short staffed. So she can save her attitude especially since she just woke me up & its too early in the morning. She snaps back, I tell her how about this I quit, have nice day and hung up! Y'all wonder why you're so short staffed though???

We had one caregiver for a month who moved away suddenly, and that transition was handled smoothly by Rachel and her team. We ended up working with the agency from late August 2020 through mid-March 2021, and our caregiver Linda became a member of our family. I could not recommend this agency highly enough. Throughout any billing, long term care insurance, scheduling, or other logistical challenge they handled all the difficult parts. Our caregiver Linda always followed covid protocols and was a friendly and engaging presence. Linda worked with both of my parents when they lived with us and did an amazing job juggling a complex set of care needs and personalities. I could not have been happier working with EFHC and Linda. It is on Sable, on the East (right) side of the street when headed North. This was before you got to 6th Avenue. It is a large building shared with many other businesses. The hours are posted on the door. When I got there, their computer system was down too, which made looking up records difficult. Nevertheless, we got the appointment completed. You do still need to wear a mask per business rules. There is a lot of seating in the lobby and lots of stations to talk to intake. I can see this place can be very busy. The people were very kind and helpful. We joked about my high bp and that I needed a few minutes to 'calm down' before taking it. Turned out magnificent! They even gave me a better 'card' for next time. I plan to return as they are actually closer than the Brighton clinic. Plus, the ladies were a delight to chat with.

Their clinicians are respectful of your time and home. I also appreciate how helpful their office staff is with getting wound care supplies and the wheelchair we needed. They followed up on our behalf and made sure we were kept in the loop. We have had 2 other companies before RGA but they don't hold a candle to them. They aren't a big corporation but I think that's why they are so good at what they do.

Also, I have heard several complaints about not having the same CNAs or the favorite CNAs not being available, because they seem to hire people who don't want to work shorter shifts or the weekends. I have had a few CNAs who were on their phones the whole time, or would huff and puff when needed to work. Yes, the care is skilled, however that doesn't make up for the bad attitudes of the CNAs and the lack of recurring care.

For my meeting, the owner Kay, Abraham the administrator and a personal care provider came to my home. I was impressed that Kay the owner came along with Abraham the administrator. I thought, this is a very good agency, caring enough about their potential clients, the owner attends, communication with the administrator, Abraham was great but I later found out it was wrong and an act. The approved paperwork was provided to Kay Home Health, Abraham the administrator, had a provider lined up to start in three days, and I was happy to get a help from a provider in a few days. At the very last minute, I received a text message stating, "Based on the hours, Kay Home Care could not accommodate my care." After finding out that Kay Home Care would not have the additional family care hours, Kay Home Care dropped the "caring" act and showed a disgusting lack of honesty and integrity and chose profit over people. The disabled and vulnerable who need and depend on Home Health Agencies to provide quality care and need the Home Care Agency coordinators, to be honest forthcoming upfront and be willing to provide full communication. Sadly, honesty, integrity, communication was not what I received from Kay Home Care, and I would definitely NOT recommend this agency to ANYONE
