Update: after experiencing ZERO symptoms after having my right hand done in Sept 2024, I got the…read moreleft hand done in September 2025. I think this one healed even better. I had way less itching overall and significantly less pain immediately following surgery - likely because my left is not my dominant hand. However, I did have more sensitivity in the area (it basically feels like a sore ball on the bottom of your palm). It's been about 10.5 months post surgery and scar fade is excellent. I feel pretty confident putting my weight on my hands - I took a couple of falls during winter hiking season and was able to use my palms to help myself back up and everything was ok. My wrist flex is great - I reached out to my former weightlifting coach a few weeks ago because I feel ready to pick up a bar and get back to Oly. If you are on the fence about this surgery please just get it. I shake my head at how much my quality of life deteriorated over the last 4 years (legit having to wear pull on pants because I couldn't finagle a button closure) for a surgery that was so straightforward in the grand scheme of things. Also if you are brown skinned or otherwise prone to keloid scarring, the incision is flat and significantly faded. I predict within 5 years it will be invisible. I'm adding pics of the left hand. Dr. Aida is the man!

Walk in Urgent Care orthopedic services? Yes please. Came here after an unfortunate fall led to a…read morefairly significant wrist injury, and couldn't be more pleased with the service. X-rays and temporary casting done on site, MRIs pre-approved and scheduled, then follow-ups and PT all handled in one place. Never paid a penny more than my co-pay for Specialist visits, beats a trip to the ER or generic Urgent Care center by a long margin. If you're afraid you did something to yourself that's going to require orthopedic care sooner rather than later, this is the place.

It turned out to be a much more pleasant experience than I expected, having never been to PT. The office is friendly and low-key, and both Marc and Jenna are great! When they are working with you, they give you their full attention and make sure that you're doing everything correctly. They are very patient and good listeners and I'm attributing my rapid recovery from my running injury to the excellent quality of care. Not that I'd really want to ever need PT, but with this office right around the corner being injured is much less of a burden.
