She spends time getting to know you and offers functional, doable exercises for you to do at home too. I have had a fabulous experience and can't recommend her enough! If you've been experiencing any pain or stiffness, she's the person to go to.

I began seeing Ilene Watrous in early September 2022. I have chronic neck and upper back pain…read morecaused by repetitive motion from working at a computer. Under stress, this pain has escalated into debilitating migraines. Historically I have received both physical and chiropractic therapy for this condition and both seemed to exacerbate the condition. I have also received cranial sacral therapy in the past and found it relaxing and soothing. My doctor recommended that I find a practitioner who provided some type of 'gentle' therapy around my neck and shoulders, as she believes the gentle manipulation, over time, would improve my condition. I found Ilene Watrous on a website which listed practitioners under 'Biodynamic Therapy'. Ilene has an unusual background. She is a physical therapist but, she is also a practitioner of many holistic therapeutic modalities. When I first visited Ilene my neck was stiff and swollen at the base of my skull. Ilene was able to lessen the stiffness about 90% in the first session and I was shown techniques to use at home and have been practicing them daily with positive results. The results include more range of motion in my neck and back. I am now able to turn from left to right without resistance. Ilene provided me with mild muscle strengthening techniques, which I practice at home to build muscle mass. They do not aggravate the inflammation in my neck and upper back. Since the first session, I have received several sessions of Biodynamic Therapy. The day after the first treatment I had a sense of serenity and peace, in spite of my work stress. The effect seems to endure with every additional session. I have also received Trager therapy. The muscles in my back were released from the tension they held. The Trager approach helps to "facilite relaxation, increase physical mobility and mental clarity. Ilene Watrous has a deep passion for providing relief through physical therapies. I personally think that this was her professional purpose--she is doing what she was born to do! In addition, Ilene is a very kind, sensitive and gentle person. I feel safe during my treatment sessions. LJ 10/30/2022 Princeton NJ

Physical therapy staff is professional, compassionate, and always creative. They find therapies that are interesting and challenging, using traditional and more advanced therapies to target and address problems. Their instructions are clear, I can practice the routines at home and have learned to develop higher tolerance for the movements, to great therapeutic effect. My doctor can see the improvement and consistent progress after a broken bone. I could not be happier that I selected this team.

Hi my name is Karen Anderson. Jag physical therapy is an interesting place. they have quite the mix…read moreof physical therapists. I walked into jag thinking I would be making a ton of progress with my setback, however this did not happen. One of the new physical therapists is quite a handful. After asking a simple question she yelled at me saying that I'm "not working hard enough." As a patient I found this rude and disrespectful, I have been going to pt to get better not be bullied. Anyone who has had an injury knows how difficult recovery could be. It takes a mental and physical impact on you. This therapist comment really hurt me, considering the meaning that she said that "I wasn't working hard" when it takes weeks in order to make progress on injuries. I respect physical therapists for what they do, although her comment separated my perception to a reality. Do yourself a favor And go to a physical therapist that does does not bully you. -Karen

My family only uses this PT facility. Why? It is superb…read more The organization, the flexibility and the therapists are top-notch. Most recently I completed a number of PT sessions with Maragarey Coopes-Meske, aka 'Claire'. She was professional, efficient, knowlegeable and most importantly, helpful. My pain and range of motion are better because of her intervention. I highly recommemd this facility amd Ms. Coopes-Meske in particular.

I will never use PT or any RWJ outpatient service again. They cheat on their bills. My insurance…read morecovers me 100% for outpatient PT. RWJ cheated and billed Medicare under Part A which is for IN HOSPITAL service. That's a lie. Also, there is no human being you can talk to with billing questions. A robot handles everything. The robot ignored every call I made, every email I sent. The robot calls me. The robot texts me. The robot sent my accounts to a collection agency. The only human beings who answer calls are clerks who can only tell you how much RWJ says you owe, and ask how do you want to pay for it. I am thoroughly disgusted. RWJ is forcing me to pay for something that is fully covered by my insurance! If they had billed it properly they would have been paid immediately. I've used private PT providers and NEVER had this problem, ever! There is nothing caring, compassionate, or human about RWJ administration. It's set on auto-pilot and all the overpaid execs are out on the golf course.
