I called several AC companies and none got back to me…read more These folks got back to me within the same day, and sent someone to inspect the attic within 24 hours. They told me the inspector would be there between 9AM - 12PM. He was there at 9:01AM. He let me know that my ducts were BUSTED. Like really bad. Gaps everywhere, broken stuff. The "Miami special" he called it. Showed me videos of all the issues to verify what he was saying. Although at first I thought the quote they gave me was a bit on the higher end, after I saw everything they did I've changed my mind and think the quote was honestly very fair. They replaced all the ducts in my attic, hung them (they were lying on the floor before...), replaced all the vents, covered my entire house in plastic, added an air return to a bedroom, picked up all the debris when they were done, and did all that in just like 3-4 hours. Honestly these folks are incredible. Shoutout to Amit. Such a friendly and funny guy. He took the time to explain to me all the issues he was seeing and why they mattered. He was the first one in a line of guys to finally explain that the master bedroom was so hot (5+ degrees hotter than rest of the house) because it didn't have a return. Once they installed that it feels like I have a new house. I've never slept better.

I had been here a few…read moretimes before to get alterations done to my pants because the seamstress had done such an amazing job; it had been some time since I had been back. Recently, I received new work pants that required alterations and hemming. When I first walked in, I was disappointed to see there was a new seamstress working there, but since I had such excellent customer service last time, I decided to give her a try. She measured my pants and I told her I wanted all five pants, to be fitted. She measured me and told me they would be ready by Saturday, which gave her a week to complete. On Friday, I received a text message confirming the pants were done. I picked up the pants and tried them on when I got home. The pants did not meet my expectations or match the description. I went back to the shop and explained the situation to the seamstress. She looked at me with an upset face and began to shake her head. She was arguing with me, suggesting that I should have provided a clearer explanation to what I wanted. I told her I did not mind paying a difference. I just wanted the pants completed correctly. She continued to shake her head and told me she wasn't sure if they were going to charge me. She told me to try the pants on again and began to measure. She asked, in a stern voice and with a look of displeasure, and asked if these measurements were better. I showed her a picture of how I wanted the pants to fit, emphasizing that I preferred them to be more fitted. She placed some pines on the pants and left the fitting room without a word. I walked out of the fitting room and walked toward the cashier. The lady in front was gathering my information when she came and started telling her the prices. She then started arguing with the cashier over a price disagreement because the cashier did not understand how she was trying to price the pants. She began to raise her voice at the cashier (because she appeared to be frustrated), but I intervened and clarified the pricing she was trying to explain. I paid for the pants to be fixed, and she told me they would be done by Saturday, which would be a week. Saturday came along, and I did not hear a word from anyone. Monday and Tuesday passed without any communication, so finally I called the business. I explained to the man who answered the phone that my items were past due, and I hadn't received any text or phone call from anyone. He stated they normally would not do that, but he would check if it was ready and hung up on me without any notification. I never received a call from anyone; when I tried to reach them again, I received no response. Finally, the business sent me a text two weeks after she promised to fix my pants, saying that my items were ready for pickup. Let me tell you that even after trying on all of my items, they were still messed up. Some of the hems from the pants are noticeably shorter than the others. It looked like some of the pants appeared to have remained unfixed. I paid for a service twice, but neither time did I receive the necessary results or fixes. Both times I was measured, I even brought my work boots in to be measured properly. I wouldn't mind paying for a good service; sometimes there are miscommunications, but no one should have to pay for or deal with someone with poor customer service and subpar work, especially with their price points. My work pants are messed up and the company I work for won't replace them, so I would have to come out of pocket to buy new pants (the work pants are not cheap). I have to walk around work for 10 hours a day with mismatched and unfixed pants. I am not one to leave reviews, but the seamstress was so rude and did such a poor job.

Total Dry Cleaners had the highest rating south of 595 so I decided to give them a try. The signage is a bit confusing, now as it says "Martinizing." I paused at the door, not sure whether to still drop off my dry cleaning because I did not know if all of the good reviews attached to Total mattered if the store changed. Someone inside saw my pause, and came out to say this is Total. Since they were so enthusiastic, and I was already there, I went ahead and dropped off my cleaning. They were exceptionally nice, accommodating, and quick with their return times. Their prices are also good. I happened to need to pick my items up on June 3rd, when the tropical storm was coming through. They are closed on Sunday, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get my suits for a business trip. Not to fear, even in the storm they came in and honored store hours saving my day. I would have understood if they were closed, but was extremely thankful they were open. Vica helped me and she is so nice and kind. Total is a bit east of where I live, but for reliable, honest, and friendly service I am happy to have found a place I can count on. They said they cannot change the Total reviews over to Martinizing (and that they are still Total). This is still a bit confusing, but they requested I put the review here and not in a new business. Maybe someone at Yelp can help switch the reviews over.

    Horrible customer service. The woman who works here is consistently passive-aggressive and seems to…read morebe in a bad mood every time I visit. This isn't based on one interaction it's been multiple visits, and the energy is always the same: rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily demanding. On one occasion, I brought three Amazon returns inside a single box just to carry them. None of the items required packaging, but she immediately assumed there was only one item inside and kept repeating, "Put it back in the box." I politely explained that I had more items to remove, and that she could use the box if needed. Instead of listening, she continued to demand, "PUT IT BACK IN," in a tone that was completely uncalled for. Today was no better. I walked in to an empty store no greeting, no acknowledgment. She didn't address me until I said "hi," and even then, she ignored me for another minute. When I finally said I was there to return an Amazon package, she replied with, "I'll be with you in a moment," despite the store being completely empty. Her attitude is consistently rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. Customer service should never feel hostile, especially when the store isn't busy. Unfortunately, experiences like this are the norm here, not the exception.
