Cold and snowy day... January 22, 2025…read more.. Southbound on the 91outside of White River Junction, VT... sensed a strong odor of antifreeze... pulled into a gas station... Yep... broken water pump and overheating... Mind you, this GMC 2018 Sierra (fully paid off)... has gotten me completely cross country back in October, 2024... with no issues, not even a scratch... Vehicle is towed to Bob's Service Center at 10 am that day... Not Bob, but Josh... "Let's see, water pump, coolant and belt tensioner assembly need replacing... it'll be ready by two..." Josh was right on schedule... Professional, thorough, and kind... Picked up the vehicle... warranted work for 2 years/24,000 miles... back on the freeway I went... only a few hours delay... but no matter... the vehicle must be reliable... It was... Coldest day in White River Junction... This driver and owner will seek these gentlemen out for future auto repairs... they are simply the best... And kind... They explained everything... I do appreciate the thoughtful and thorough approach... A cold day driving with a vehicle failure... could have been made much more difficult... but it was not... it was a beautiful day... I took my 1963 Austin Healey 3000 to Scott for a second opinion because a nearby mechanic with 42…read moreyears of experience told me my compression was low and the engine needed to be completely rebuilt at a cost of between $8,000 and $10,000! Scott determined that my engine compression was just fine and that my carburetors needed to be rebuilt and the engine needed to be tuned, among other things and now the car is running better than ever and it cost me a small fraction of the cost to do an unnecessary rebuild. No one is touching my baby from now on except Scott!

The only person we want working on our cars is Scott. He's thorough and honest, always doing his…read morebest to give us a 'heads up' on what our next repairs are likely to be (e.g. 'you'll need new snow tires next year' or 'brakes in the front will need to be replaced in the next visit or so, depending on how much you use it', etc.) Our cars are over 12 years old and while we expect repairs, I think they are at a minimum because Scott keeps them in really good condition. The convenience of having your car serviced while you're at work and have the people that do the work be so accommodating, highly responsive, and honest is a very hard combination to beat. Nico is also super responsive to various questions and he went the extra mile to see if his technicians could do some non-routine work on my car. And what's more, the technicians did it beautifully. But the best part is that their pricing is quite fair. Needless to say, I'll be using Zippity for all my needs if they are able to perform the work.

They used to allow frequent customers the option to do a 3 pay system for those really large repair bills and that does not happen anymore. Also, customer service isn't as friendly as it used to be. Damian came out and successfully got my truck straightened out which was not easy as there was a steep drop off near a creek, trees and ice to deal with. He was extremely professional explaining the plan and improvising as we went. They have never fixed my vehicle properly. I always have to bring it back. They always seem to…read moreguess and hope that fixes it. I will not allow them to take advantage of me again. When I pay to have something fixed I expect it to be fixed. Accidents do happen but I shouldn't expect something to go wrong every time.
