I have always bought my guns at Atlantic Guns. The sales staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Dealing with Sani today was extremely pleasant. Sani was very patient with all the questions and wanting to look at the difference between the hand gun and rifle inventory. I highly recommend Atlantic Guns! read more

I've purchased several firearms here and have never been disappointed. The staff is very knowledgeable, honest, and very welcoming. I appreciate their honesty they don't just try to sell you the most expensive firearm but help you find what you're actually looking for. I definitely recommend checking them out! read more

Anybody can study firearms and sell them. Not many people have the capability to take that knowledge and merge it with an understanding of how to read people and top it off with professional-level customer service. When you combine all those qualities, you get Mr. Joel McCall. Feb. 24, 2026, I walked into Atlantic Guns Inc. in Rockville, MD. looking for a particular brand and model I later found out from Joel they didn't have; but, factoring my size and grip (and without upselling me to something I didn't need), he helped me pick a very suitable substitute. In sum: Joel is a GREAT part of a GREAT team; and if I ever need to add to my arsenal, I'm running back to Atlantic Guns Inc. You should also. read more

Walked in just looking and taking in the selection, which has a nice variety and also offers used if in the market. Mr. Fast came over and asked a few questions, let me handle a few items and was very knowledgeable, and was trying to gauge what we were looking for and being with in budget, he showed me a few great choices and will absolutely be coming back for more purchases. Appreciate all his time and knowledge when starting out on handguns read more

I am a novice. Never held a pistol in my life. I met Kyle at Atlantic Guns and he patiently discussed and displayed the multiple options available for me to protect my person and my family. I purchased my first automatic pistol from Atlantic and one for each of my family members. Last weekend we attended the Md. Concealed Carry Course led by Jay Garcia and supported by Miguel, Kyle and Angelo. I had no idea I could learn so many important lessons in two days. Their patience, experience share, and personal approach to a explaining a rather unusual, difficult discussion and decision to carry a firearm was the most rewarding and memorable weekends I have spent with my Spouse and family. We look forward to continuing to rely on Jay and Atlantic Guns for their insight and guidance while we await the completion of processing of our Concealed Carry Permit. Thank you for helping the difficult decision to carry a weapon such an outstanding experience. read more

This used to be my go to place. The location was good. It was clean and always had great availability. But, I noticed that customer service has been going downhill. Ok, maybe I caught them on a bad day. Then I went again. Well, it must have been another bad day because I have been a customer here for years and the last two times must be a fluke. Well, the third time of bad customer service, I decided to take my money and go elsewhere. I mean, they know I will buy but they just keep me waiting and waiting... Unless you get someone from the family like Mark, forget it. The staff, even those who have been there, seem to ignore you when you need assistance. Even after saying "Hey, I need some assistance...." they will pass you over to others whom entered the store much later. What's the deal? Well, I found another place so thank you for helping me find it by your latest attitudes. I hope they can return to their glory days. If you don't get Mark, Eva, or the other lady or someone from the family, forget about the customer service. read more

Took the 16-hour Wear & Carry class at Atlantic Guns this past weekend. As a new shooter who doesn't even own a firearm, I was nervous about how much I would benefit from the course. Surprisingly, my 20-person class included folks from all backgrounds and skill levels - from novices to retired LEOs. Miguel and Vince are extremely knowledgable and patient. The two-day course was divided into digestible modules, with plenty of time for dialogues and Q&A. Practical, real-life scenarios were used to inspire authentic discussions, challenge us to think critically, and empower us to develop confidence. Whether you are an experienced shooter or a newbie like myself, this is the opportunity of a lifetime to learn from some of the most talented and respected folks in the industry and, more importantly, exercise your constitutional right as an American. Learn to protect yourself and your loved ones before it's too late. read more

Amazing service, excellent communication and stellar customer engagement. If you want exceptional support for purchase, training, Eforms etc....I have enjoyed all of the above from Atlantic Guns for the last 2+ Years. I just completed my eforms for another can and Mark offered the highest level of service a customer could ask for from an FFL. Please consider stopping here first for all of your firearm questions, purchases and training. read more

This is Atlantic Guns newest location. Downtown Silver Spring and Rockville locations closed and consolidated into this location. The staff is awesome. They are very knowledgeable. As one would expect, inventory is low on handguns and ammo. Most stores, including this one, have more rifles and rifle ammo, than anything else. The store location is Northern Rockville Pike, south of Shady Grove Road. I always check at this store first for going to any other store for guns, ammos, and accessories. read more

This gun store has a lot of product in stock. I have purchased many guns and accessories over the past 5 years from them. Each and every visit and purchase has been flawless. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable in product knowledge and gun laws. Their pricing is great, I usually check online before making most purchases , and they are always the same or less! But the thing that really makes them stand out, is the outstanding staff! read more

Very cool and nice people work there. Miguel and Jay are A number one! Took classes with them learned a lot. Highly recommended.

I have been purchasing firearms from Atlantic guns for the past 8+ years. From the old and robust to the fancy new store that they have... they haven't forgotten where they started from. Today I stopped by to pick up couple of quick things for my built and was looking around when a gentleman stepped in and was asking about a simple pepper spray. Miguel stepped in and asked all the right questions and did not dismiss him for only looking for something as simple as pepper spray. That reminded me why I keep coming back and supporting this business. They take their time, give you full attention, listen to your needs and guide you to the right choice. Kyle has gone above and beyond to provide, build and guide me for every step and purchase I have made. Cheers to you boys and girls from Atlantic guns, you have made me feel as a part of your family and you are much appreciated for what you do!!!! read more

It was like reconnecting with an old friend!!! Haven't been in as much after they relocated from Silver Spring, but the longer drive has ALWAYS been well worth it. Plus this time, I'd worked myself into a couple of "do-it-yourself" jams. (Spoiler Alert: based on my experiences, one of the ways you can tell a "stand-up" business is they not only fix it, but they also show you how to fix it YOURSELF in the future if it happens again.) I called first and gave him a basic description of my "situations." Packed up and rolled out. Gunsmith ALEC URBAN crushed it from there! His immediately obvious firearm knowledge with a complementary tutorial for possible future occurrences was EPIC! (See above "stand-up business" reference). As for inventory, they had all the parts/accessories necessary right there. In my own defense, you'd have to be Gunsmith ALEC to figure out the other stuff (The Guy's a beast!). In the end, I'm walking out about an hour later with all my guns in working order, some reasonably priced cleaning supplies and some hard-to-find ammo!!! Although ALEC crushed it, I have to give a shout out to everybody on staff. I apologize for not getting the name of the young lady who assisted me at the gunsmith desk and again at the front desk (Nicely Done!!!) and Jay with the helpful info for DC residents. Do yourself a favor and, even if you don't make it your go-to, go there at least one time. You'll be glad you did! read more

Went in today to look at a Handgun I'm considering for my 1st one. I worked with a tall caucasian gentlemen but got the vibe that he just wasn't trying hard enough to sell. Short on answers and didn't suggest other handguns when I asked about red dot optical for one I'm considering. Simply said that it wouldn't go with it and never suggested other options. He then locked the cabinet and went to talk with another but seems like he enjoyed them more. Just felt as though he wasn't interested and profiled me. As far as selection, they have an abundance of them but unfortunately, my business will be elsewhere. read more

I got the 1st two guns from rockville store. Jon fast are my seller and spend to me 30 min. to explain rules. Store so close to me and I'm regular customer now. Terrible customer service. Instead of trying to solve the problem, the agent wanted to start a fight with me. He was looking for an excuse to cancel the sale which is exactly what he did. I didn't expect much when he attacked me in his first email response. I purchased my first firearm in over 16yrs. My children are all grown now and I wanted to rekindle my love for this great pastime. The staff was so patient with me. They allowed me to ask as many questions as I needed without getting frustrated. I wanted to personally say thank you to Bob and Stephen. But, I must say Matthew is my guy. He was sooooo proficient, professional, and knowledgeable. I think I many have asked to see every firearm in the store until I found the one that felt right for me. Matthew took his time and explained every firearm. I was thinking to myself, wow, he knows a lot! In closing, thank you for making my experience smooth, kind, and pleasant. If you're looking for a professional firearms location, I would highly recommend Atlantic Guns. Take care, and I'll see you all soon. Best Regards, VDH read more

Their Silver Spring location is further out of the way for me, but I prefer that location over this one. The salespeople here constantly ignore customers who they probably take one look at and say "they don't look like they know what they're doing" or "they're probably not buying anything". What they don't know (or probably just don't care about) is that if they just took the time to talk to their customers (they're certainly not busy with anything else whenever I'm in there), they might actually get people comfortable and ready to throw money at them! There have been two times I've gone into the store looking for a specific gun or accessory, and was never acknowledged (although they stopped to help customers they already knew or who looked much older than me), so I left and looked elsewhere. I shouldn't waste my time here, and neither should you. read more

I'm from Alabama and these gun shops around here are just blah. Too up tight. Too arrogant. They act like they are doing you a favor by being there. Prices are fine. They are reasonably knowledgeable although they are more interested in selling you what they have than what you might actually need. It's a small shop but quite well stocked. Typically, it's crowded so be prepared for a wait. Nice inventory of used firearms, too. Really, given the locale, it's not bad. It's just that, being from a culture where guns are a way of life, these guys are just so so. read more

These guys are handling the chaos around the new laws with patience and class. I heard them tell people what they could expect over and over, never once seeming annoyed and always emphasizing that people could buy elsewhere. They weren't pushy, they are knowledgable, they don't rush you even though there are tons of ppl in the store. They don't make you feel stupid, and they don't try to influence your decisions. Their prices seemed fair. The stock on ammo seems low right now due to everyone buying us guns. read more

I hit a bull's-eye when I was introduced to this place. I can not be more pleased with the purchases I've made. The education I have received, when researching weapons, ammo, and accessories. The staff I have had the pleasure of dealing (Jon/Bob and all) have been professional, courteous, informative and have displayed a high level of customer service that you would not expect from a gun shop. I am a repeat customer, who once a good thing is found, have not deviated. They have my endorsement, and from what I've seen have plenty more. Go see for yourself. read more

I came back for more parts, and the customer service has improved tremendously; I was looking for a front post sight and an adjustment tool; it took a couple of minutes of walking around before someone asked if I needed help and was able to get me what I needed. The sight parts were from a random draw, and the person helping me out put them inside the adjustment tool bag to keep me from losing the small parts. I'm definitely coming back again. I'm giving Atlantic Guns Rockville 5 stars solely based on their outstanding customer service!!! They are pricier than some of the other gun shops but I never experienced the high level of excellent customer service from a gun shop as I got from the Atlantic Guns Rockville store... I spent at least half an hour with the sales man and I looked at least 15 guns, all the while the sales man kept his cool and high level of courtesy the entire time, and obliged my every request and fully responded to my various questions.... even showed me other guns to consider.... Thank you!!!! I took the weekend to think it over and even though, I could beat the price by $50 place else I felt that because they had the products in stock and provided such an extraordinary customer service, that I will support them by spending the extra cash.... and seriously.... I don't regret it!!!! Bob and team.... thanks again and keep up the excellent customer service. read more
