My go to place for FFL transfers. Best rates and great service! Large online store with great selection and competitive prices, too.

Israeli Tactical School - Class room short briefing

I attended a multi-day course with Tomer last year and was extremely disappointed, especially given…read morethe cost. I was motivated to attend based on the positive reviews here on Yelp, but my overall experience was so bad that I considered disputing the course charge with my bank. I'm an experienced first responder with many tac trainings under my belt, and this was one of the worst courses I've ever attended. It was just generic and useless; all the "training" info communicated was nothing you couldn't learn in 30 minutes on YouTube. In short, it was a massive waste of time and money.

I recently completed the Novice 9 day course and I plan on returning for more training. From my…read morefirst contact with Tomer, I found him very professional and responsive. Tomer took the time addressing all my questions to ensure this training was the right fit for me. Most places would have been happy just to take my money. The course was exactly as described on his web site. There was no bs, no fluff, you hit the ground running, literally. Even though I had some experience with shooting, I still learned a lot. The course was realistic in teaching you skills so you are prepared under stress / under attack, in various situations such as a moving vehicle, and defending yourself against various weapons, just to name a few. Tomer makes you think and see things differently and the scenarios are realistic. I highly recommend Tomer / Israeli Tactical School.

I went into the class with basic knowledge and experience, and I left with a much more…read morecomprehensive understanding of pistols and a much better handling technique. At the range, he gave me key pointers that dramatically improved my target accuracy, and I was so impressed by my own immediate improvements! Tom was a great teacher, and very enthusiastic about the sport. I am eager to take another one of his classes, and I would recommend this class to anyone. ~ Kate M (June 2013)

I was looking for a course to fulfill the requirement to receive my HQL and I'm glad I chose ACS…read more While I had some very basic knowledge of guns, gun safety, and gun laws, this class would be great for someone who knows absolutely nothing, as long as they come in with the right attitude. I thought the small class size (I was the only student for my class but Tom, the instructor, said his classes would typically have 3-5 students) was extremely beneficial and in my opinion would set it apart from other classes available. Because I was able, and encouraged, to ask questions throughout the course, it was taught more like a discussion rather than a lecture. This helped to comprehend and remember everything that was taught and easily pass the exam at the end of the class. Some of the questions on the NRA exam are poorly worded and a little confusing, but they were no problem because I knew everything so well as a result of Tom's instruction. After the lecture we went to the range. Since it was just the two of us we rode there together, which allowed the discussion to continue and I was able to get his opinion and recommendation about gun ranges and stores, how to choose a gun, web sites to learn more about local gun laws, and next steps to continue learning and practicing. This is all something I wouldn't have gotten had I taken a larger class with the lecture taught at the range. At the range Tom was very helpful and his knowledge and experience allowed him to quickly point out exactly what I was doing right and what needed to be corrected. Since the lecture portion is done so well, even with the little hands-on instruction we're able to get before going to the range, I was confident handling the loaded gun for the first time. From there, after each set of shooting five rounds, Tom reiterated what I was doing correctly and offered tips on how to correct things that needed improvement. There was plenty of practice at the range, again a result of a small class. As a whole the course was not just very informative but also very fun. I can't wait to get back out and practice the skills I learned from Tom. If additional courses are available in the future I will be coming back to ACS for sure. Thanks to this course, I'm very excited and enthusiastic about my new hobby.
