I was in desperate need of relief and so many friends told me to try a chiropractor- so I researched some near home and found Atlantic Chiropractor- Blake takes very good care of his patients. I explained my pain symptoms and he said he figured I had numerous discs bulging and/or hemorrhaged. His educated guess was L3 through S1 and he was dead on the money. Treatments unfortunately only helped me for about a day or two- but since it is severe, I will take the temporary relief over no relief. Staff is always friendly and next week I might try acupuncture with him. I've done acupuncture before and had great results, so I am more than willing to try everything! I went to Atlantic Chiropractic for the first time today for a message. I was forwarded the paperwork in advance so I had everything filled out when I arrived. I checked in and was called back in less then a minute for my appointment. Cicely, my masseuse, introduced herself and we chatted about why I was there. The room was clean and neat with a nice mix of music on the radio. The message table was comfortable as well. Cicely was extremely professional and quite personable. She listened intently to my ailments and then went to work. I have had a variety of messages from relaxing spa types to orthopedic sports messages. Cicely, was very good! I can't believe how much better my shoulder, neck and back feel (the reason I went in today) but she also worked on the bursitis in my hip, tight t-bands and lower back pain. I would definitely recommend her and have already scheduled a follow up for next week. read more

Dr. Crosby & staff are truly as good as it gets! I find it hard to discover specialty doctors that you can trust 100% to provide you with an accurate diagnosis all while making you feel completely comfortable. I first saw Dr. Crosby for acupuncture on my back, where I had fallen and hurt myself. Within 18 hours of the acupuncture, I felt like a new woman! I came back for regular massage therapy (every 4-6 weeks) to work out the kinks in my back from the fall. Throughout the massage therapy sessions, another diagnosis/discovery was found. It turns out that the tension in my neck, shoulders & back were contributing to my massive migraines & jaw pain! All of this time I have been blaming so many other things on the head & jaw pain...but since the therapy, I haven't had one single headache and I no longer clinch my jaw. I have received 4 massage therapy treatments in the past 3 months. It is totally worth the time and money to live pain & headache free. Especially when my dentist & ENT doctors were suggesting my pain was due to TMJ...which is a serious condition. I am beyond relieved that Dr. Crosby was able to diagnose me correctly...before I opted into any surgeries to fix my so-called TMJ. Bottom line is that Dr. Crosby breeds a positive vibe in his office along with setting goals and striving to do what's best for the patient, not for himself. After explaining to him what was going on, he immediately told me what I was dealing with and we began treatment right away.
