Service was amazing. I brought in my own vantrue camera to be put in a favorite car of one of the techs. He didn't think he was going to fit all 4 cameras in the Nismo. Techs went above and beyond and guess what? Surprised me and installed all four cameras and didn't change a thing. When you come in with vehicles that are slightly older vs new... You have to ask yourself how much reading and calling they have to do to get the products needed for installing. If you have a tricky car where it's only handles so much power or they have to make a wiring kit... Theres more hours and labour. You cannot expect these people to work for free. They have no idea about what they install and are apparently operating a scam, they draw you in by quoting a low price then jacking up the price once they have your vehicle. I was quoted $250.00 to install a dash cam with a backup camera. I left my car with them, then I got a call to say that I had been quoted initially for a dash cam without a backup camera despite my clearly saying that it did have a backup camera, and it would now cost $375.00. The camera is an "always on" design, it is designed for 24hour monitoring with automatic turn off if you car battery runs low. When I got my car back it had been wired so the camera went on and off with the key and so not workable as the 24hr higher priced camera it was. I went back to ask them to wire it as it was designed for and supposed to be. At first there was (feigned) puzzlement at the idea of an always on camera setup, but they agreed to rewire it as it should have been wired in the first place but for another $37.00. When clearly they were at fault and should have corrected their mistake at no charge. So the job initially quoted at $250 eventually cost me over $400.00 read more

Made an appointment to have a Honda radio looked at as it just stopped working. After less then an hour they told me I needed a new radio and gave me a price. I asked if there was power to the radio and the tech? said yes. So I asked what was wrong and he said the internal electronics?! When I told him I thought he was wrong and that I thought the anti thief system had it locked out as the light was flashing even with the key turned to on he just said "oh"? They charged me almost $50 and did nothing. Tonight with my 12 year old I fixed it myself. I was right about the anti thief system. If they don't know what they are doing they should say so instead of just ripping people off. Don't waste your time and money! read more

they installed my dash cam I bought somewhere else, never got it to work and just summed it up to it being defective. although when I plugged it in externally at home it worked fine. they never gave me any options just told me that should have bought there product. good way to burn $300 read more

I have had car stereos forever and had a few "pro" installs that were always lacking. This was the first install I've had done that was not only what I wanted but better. My trunk has never banged so hard and been so clear all the way up the knob. Thanks to Trevor and Darryl for all their hard work, we couldn't be happier!!! I called ahead to price a wiring harness asked thre times to verify the car and price the lady did 23 dollars. I drove sixty miles to pick this up got there they wanted 41 dollars. They made excuses oh they must have looked up the wrong car( again I asked for verification 3 times). I sure hope your work quality is better than your sales tactics and ethics. Because this is an extremely poor way to gain business well you didn't gain mine and if word of mouth accounts for anything my rating for Atlantic Car stereo to anyone will not be good read more

I initially called to ask them some questions about how to go about replacing my car stereo, and I don't know what on earth is wrong with the girl who answered the phone, but she was condescending, rude, and overall seemed annoyed that I had any inquiries. She said I should just come to the shop and they could take a look at it. I did that, except no one would talk to me or help me when I went. There were 4 other customers in total in the store (not all being served), with two people working the front desk. No one mentioned that they would help me when they were free, or even said hello. It's not a big place! I obviously needed help. I waited for 15 minutes and then walked out. I most certainly will not be going back, and I think they need to take a serious look at who their hiring. read more
