WARNING: Do not buy or lease a car from Atlantic Jeep Chrysler Fiat on Tilton Road in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. They are a den of thieves. I traded in a leased GM vehicle with excess miles and a deal was formulated to take those excess mile charges and wrap them into the payment of my new Jeep. The salesperson called GM to get the pay off, had his team inspect my GM to gauge its great condition and the deal was made including them eating the excess mileage charge. I left the dealership with my new Jeep as they took in my GM in as trade. About two weeks later I received a letter from GM stating that I owe $3,000 on excess miles. Atlantic Chrysler Jeep Fiat defrauded me and in fact did not technically take my GM as trade, they simply gave the car back to GM knowing I would be charged that excess mileage money. I have heard that car dealers who are on the verge of bankruptcy do this to stay in the game as long as possible and eventually get jail time. read more

If you own an Audi, you should expect "Ritz Carlton" level service. But at Atlantic you will be lucky to get Motel 6 level service. The service department is a disgrace to Audi. I can't believe that Audi North America allows these people to operate an Audi dealership and service center that's dirty, unprofessional, and unresponsive. They should call you when your service is completed. They don't. You call there and you get put on hold forever or sent to voicemail. Leave a message for them to call you back...they won't. Too busy with all their Jeep and Chrysler customers because most Audi owners with any experience with these people take their cars to the Cherry Hill dealer even though it's an hour drive. Hmmm, I posted a review last month, but it has strangely disappeared......to sum up, we leased a new vehicle last month. The sales department at this dealership uses fraudulent sales practices by telling you things are included in the price when they are not, the poor excuse for sales "manager" is an immature, useless, rude baby. The service manager was extremely nice, however, we've been waiting to have two parts replaced that are on order and have not heard anything for over a month. I called and left a message for the owner at another dealership that he owns, Cherry Hill Dodge, and received no return call. Pitiful representation for Chrysler. I would not enter this business. The tactics that they use are borderline criminal. The first one they use is they get your car keys from you to look at your trade in,which they don't,but now you can't leave. Your salesperson might asked you to open the hood on your vehicle,and all of a sudden He tells you wow you have problems look at that oil leak. Don't be fooled. I am a retired policeman I did my homework before coming to the dealership adding eight thousand dollars to sticker price with hand written add ons. I checked online at the vehicle I wanted the night before. When you want to leave now they can't find your keys and call out the big guns on you trying to make a sale. Poor dealership. Took VW Passat in to repair there. Said they performed work. Got home few days later. None of Work was performed. All the old parts remained. I took the car in to have them repair it. They replaced one part and left the rest as well as broken wires. Terrible dealer. Keep saying they will repair but mechanic keeps making excuses why he wont repair and service staff refuses to make the mechanic perform the work. read more

Bought an Audi Q5, Franco the salesman was great. Unfortunately the service department is terrible. Mirror came unglued on on a 2013 Q5, they did not have the part to fix it, asked for a loaner car and they ignored my request. Called service manager, still no call back. In the meantime, got stopped by an officer for driving a vehicle without a rear view mirror. AVoid this dealership at all costs. The service department for luxury vehicles is terrible. read more

This is the worst car dealer I've ever dealt with. I went on line and Emailed them about a specific truck I was interested in (jeep Moab edition). Next morning I got a called from " Bella", the Internet sales rep. She told me the vehicle was there and available for purchace. I drove 45 minutes to find out this truck was sold several days earlier. I felt like they tricked me into going just to make me look & buy another similar vehicle. I specifically wanted the vehicle that they advertised online. The people in this dealer are dishonest and don't deserve business. I had a 9:00 am appointment for a oil change and tire rotation. After waiting 2 hours I was told I needed rear brakes. I just had rear brakes put on the car at this dealership 3 months before. I should have ran 5 minutes after walking in the door. Sleezy, shady, obnoxious(will I be paying cash???? I realize you're close to AC, but really? if I cashed in at the table, I'm not heading to a Chrysler dealership!!!!) Did I mention sleezy??? I had a Jetta TDI that was being turned in under the diesel recall. Waited months for my VW dealership to get what I was looking for used. Up against a deadline I looked all over for what we wanted as a replacement, which meant a 2 hour trip to this dealership. The circus I went through being questioned what I was looking for and what they could get me in before I was assigned a 'salesman' finally I got to look at the VW I was there to look at. First, don't have cars on your lot that wreak of cigarette smoke and have cigarette ash on the shifter. finished the test drive, was ushered back inside and was introduced to yet another some sort of manager and then ushered to another cubicle, and again questioned by the salesman and sales manager? I still had other cars to look at before coming to a decision. Then the deposit game was on to hold this vehicle, which I declined. I left to go to the next dealership, and the sales manager followed me out to my car, asking the same stuff over again while i'm trying to make a call, ignorant! After returning home, The VW I looked at fit everything I was looking for. I decided the next day to put a deposit on the car and applied for financing. I had issues with getting back down to get the car for a few days and after speaking to more employees by phone, I got the actual salesman (Corey) on the phone and he told me the sales manager wouldn't hold the car without a NON REFUNDABLE $1000 deposit.....AFTER I already applied for financing a few hours ago. NO COMMUNICATION. I refused and found someone to take me down to pick the car up the next day to please them. I asked 'Andrew ' to get back to me that day with all the details on financing, payment, interest, etc. and assurance the car would be ready. This was roughly 11am thursday. Last contact I had with this dealership until the following Monday when I was texted by yet another employee as to when I was picking the car up. Amazing after I informed them that I bought a VW somewhere else they repeatedly called me wanting to know what happened. The dealership agreed to sell a car to me, they took a $1000 deposit on my Visa and promise to hold the car for me (flying in to Philadelphia and drive to Egg Harbor Township, NJ). After the dealership took my deposit and personal info, they sent me a copy of bill of sale through email. I booked my flight, rental car, planned my trip and took a day off from work. One week before my trip, I received a phone call from the dealership that they sold the car to someone else. I was very angry because the whole point of a deposit is to hold the car for me, my flight is non-refundable and the dealership is not accepting it is their fault. They basically told me "It is unfortunate this happened and nothing can be done on their end". Apparently a deposit doesn't mean anything at Atlantic Auto Group. I tried to speak to the General Sales Manager at the dealership to discuss my situation, I left 4 voice messages, he has yet to return my call. Please avoid this dealership if you are looking for car, I don't want you to be excited for locating the car you want to buy and later find out the car is sold to someone else. read more

I bought a car a couple years ago from this dealership and had a somewhat better experience, but was still like meh. I thought the salesman didn't know much about the a4 I leased at the time. This time around I was torn between an x3 and q5 and decided to check out the q5 at this dealer, which I later got. The salesman (who was referred to as mostly a Chrysler salesman by a coworker later on) did not have much knowledge at all about Audis in general or the particular model we were driving. I knew more than him to be honest. Like the other reviewer noted, you just expect better, more classy service when buying a luxury vehicle! Then to top things off, the salesman Corey did not offer a maintenance service or even discuss it up front, even though we had talked about it and said how bmw was offering us that with the x3. Instead it was mentioned to us a week later when I went to go sign the papers and hand in my title for the other car! Not professional-that should have been discussed up front. I also asked three times during the process of buying the car to see the paperwork with the numbers. Another salesman or manager named Geno did not provide that and instead kept drawing circles with numbers on paper for the proposed monthly payment. really, do you think I was born yesterday or this was the first car I am buying/leasing? It was really annoying and very unprofessional, especially what he was saying. he was also dissing bmws and said "there is a reason why you're here". I'm sorry, but BMW of AC is way more professional when buying/leasing a car. furthermore the x3 was just as loaded and would have been a better deal, so that was a poor statement to make. The salespeople also were very slow and incompetent throughout the process. They were sidetracked and were goofing off having conversations while we were waiting. I would be very hesitant to come back here for another Audi. They didn't give much of a discount and acted in a very unclassy, ignorant, and unprofessional manner throughout the whole leasing and buying process. Sorry guys you need to sharpen your skills if you're selling audis to paying customers! Corey educate yourself and learn about all the audi models if you're going to show them, and be honest and upfront about maintenance costs!!
