I had an existing loan and I was notified that I could increase my loan by 4k. I was approved for the 4k on Friday and they told me to bring me pay stubs that showed $9k of net income in the past 2 weeks and a salary of 195k a year. I also own 2 homes which are over over 1 million dollars in assests. They ran my credit which took a hit despite having a loan already and said come in today and bring your car which we already have the title. I took off work made copies of everything they wanted and then I was told the underwriters denied the loan which was approved Friday. This was because they said the value of the Sorrento was to low? I was never told this on the phone. The office called me this morning to confirm I was coming in at 10:30am today in East Norriton on Germantown Ave. What a waste of time. I cant wait to pay this loan off in the next 2 months. This is what you get when you deal with a organization in a shopping mall where nobody that works here can give you there email address. This is not a place to go if you have good credit and are financially saavy. They count on folks with low income, poor credit, and little to no financial acumen to make their money. I applied to OneMain for a small personal loan after receiving several mailers from them, not out of need, but as a means to have a positive note on my credit report. My FICO was in the very high 600's-low 700's between all three bureaus. First they told me I was approved at a 31% APR.......an insult to my intelligence, and then when I told them I would be paying it off in full within 90 days, they came up with an excuse that I was no longer approved because I had "derogatory" items on my credit. Funny how they couldn't tell me what it was as I had all three bureaus open on my laptop. What really happened is that they knew they'd be losing the income from the outrageous 31% interest rate they were trying to charge if I paid it off early, so they found a way to wiggle out of it. Oh, and BTW, I contacted OneMain's corporate offices and they were just as shady and useless as the staff at the branch. They stalk you and then say you are qualified for a loan and then after you run around and get all the information and they have put a hard stop on your credit, they tell you you are short for the loan. My experience at this location was nothing less than exceptional. Customer service was great from the first call of inquiry (with the Branch Manager Pam) until the closing on the loan with the Personal Loan Specialist, Richard! The process was straightforward and quick; less than 48 hours. However, it was touch and go on my end due to technical difficulties. Throughout the entire day Richard stayed in contact with me and remained patient, supportive, and optimistic while I worked through the challenges, lol! this place gets a negative 5 stars, don't ever get a loan from these people, complete rip off. i repeat do not get a loan, i had a great credit score once before above 720,these people enjoy ruining lives. some how it sounds to good to be true. i was looking for a great loan in 2018 i thought at the time the rates were low but some how these people got me in a 36% loan. do the math $221.00 a month from april 18 to now i should almost be done with this loan, they said i still owe another $4,200. they are doing fraud and they should go to jail for what they are doing read more

This company is simply a title loan company that should not be practicing in pa. As a matter of fact, I was approved electronically, however when they called med and I did not own a car as collateral, I was denied. So they put a hard ck on my credit report for nothing. After checking my excellent credit score and going through my personal account, I was approved for a loan of 3,500. One of the employees demanded to see the registration of the car that I was driving that DID NOT belong to me! When I refused he cancelled my approved loan! The ladies in this branch are so nice and helpful, I wasn't able to get what I needed, but they did help me get a small personal loan!

I was very disappointed that I worked two days with a representative to get no where. I had a cosignor whom they confirmed and knew lived in another state. Today after being told I could receive the loan tomorrow, they said oh your cosignor has to be in this state. I just moved here and have no family or friends that I could ask. They should make things right and work with me. Terrible and very disappointed. Manager didn't even get on the phone with me to try to make it work. They let an intern handle it read more
