He quickly diagnosed the problem ( pump had a crack due to frost damage), was able to order a replacement part that then was installed a few days later. Finding a capable, honest and dependable service guy such as Greg is a real plus in a small city such as ours and he will be on speed dial in case we have any other appliance issues.

On a 30 minute quick wash, it would take about 2 hours. After 3 visits and replacing a soap valve and a timer module, the problem still existed. Frustrated, I called All Appliance, a factory authorized company, and within 15 minutes, they diagnosed the problem to be a faulty water valve. It was ordered and replaced and all is great. I contacted Alpha in an attempt to negotiate some sort of refund, be it all or partial, explaining what actually fixed the problem, and the owner was not, in no short terms, going to entertain the notion of any refund of any amount to me. I paid $120.00 for the wrong diagnosis, bought 2 parts I did not need, and somehow in her mind, she feels it was not there fault. I would steer clear of this company for appliance repairs of any kind.

Planned ahead and took today off from work -- UNPAID. Had several messages the last few days on how I could track my tech, and when the tech would arrive. Also got texts over the weekend from bot wanting the appliance info I'd already given them when I set apptment, which was weird. Was fully expecting tech today. TRUSTED the company. Got message at 8:07 this morning !!!!! that tech had an emergency and wouldn't be coming. They'd randomly rescheduled me for another WEEK -- on a day I'm not available!!!! They apparently have only ONE repair person??? Is that the story? It didn't occur to them to shift around schedules so they could accommodate folks like me who built their work week around the appointment TODAY???? They think it's good customer service to cancel last minute??? I'm already out a ton of cash because I took today off. I don't know whether this place is good or not, but if they can't figure out how to get a repair person out to a job, if they think it's okay to cancel last minute, if they don't have the thinking skills to see how damaging it is to a client when they cancel last minute -- how the heck am I supposed to entrust they've got the thinking skills necessary to repair my appliance?

However, since our unit is somewhere between 8 and 10 years old, a replacement part did not seem out of the question and our total bill was about just over $150.
