From Pompano beach-moved to the Keys and then I moved to Saint Petersburg in all of these places I have not found a vet to even slightly compare to Atlantic animal clinic in Pompano Beach the Doctor, their staff their quality their professionalism they care they are above what you would expect they go above and beyond for your animals I miss them, they made me feel like I was family and my pets were in the best of hands Atlantic Animal Clinic is one of a kind

They go above and beyond the call of duty! I show and breed Siberian cats. 1 time I had to have 1 spayed. This cat is a Turkish Angola. Very high strung. She got a hematoma after the surgery because she wouldn't stay calm to heal. They offered to keep her, until she healed. They said she can stay for free. She stayed for almost 3 weeks. WHAT VET IS GOING TO DO THAT!? There have been time when I would go in for a fallowup visit and they wouldn't charge me. I live downtown Fort Lauderdale and go all the way to Pampano to see, the caring staff and the 2 AMAZING VEGETARIANS. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH, ABOUT HOW AMAZING THEY ARE!!

Yesterday I brought my English Bulldog Bentley unexpectedly to the clinic. He's been a patient there for years. He had woken up in a pool of urine and was unable to walk. As I pulled up to their parking lot they returned my call and asked what the problem was. I informed them of Bentleys deterioration and mentioned that it was probably his time. They refused to treat him. They told me they were "all booked up with appointments for the day," and to take him to a walk-in clinic. I cried that I don't want strangers to put my dog down but the nurse continued to tell me that they "don't have time to see him." Again, I was in their parking lot. As a long standing client I'm appalled by their inhumanity towards me and my dying dog. Bentley died hours later.

The pup that doctor cable helped!

My sweet Kodah's time was coming to a close here on this earth. He was blind and deaf towards the end of his road and the last thing I wanted to do was to bring him to a vet where he could smell he was in an unfamiliar and uncomfortable place. Dogs know when they're at the vet. Dr. Ashley called and provided a 15 minute out. We said many goodbyes and shed a lot Of hard tears within these last 15 minutes and more when the time was ready. She arrived and was so gentle and soft spoken. Comforting my mom and I during such a heartbreak. Pets are family and we were so lucky to have our sweet pup for 15 and a half years. I rescued him when he was 3months and he ALWAYS had a smile. Dr. Ashley answered our questions, Let us talk about Kodah's life, and explained very gently on what she would be doing and the next steps of administering final breaths. It was comforting to know he was with us and not in a cold unfamiliar place. I cannot thank lap of love of this experience because my mom had a terrible experience with a vet who put her dog down about 2 years ago that I also reviewed on yelp. They work with another company monarch for cremation and has been really easy to manage this whole Process. I wanted to also thank the 2 women that I spoke to on the phone during questions and also when it was time to schedule an appointment. It was a seamless process and easy transaction. It may be a little expensive for some people, but I think I saw they take care credit but honestly giving your pet the comfort and peace of being in their home is worth every $ Fly high Kodah ‍

PLEASE READ THIS!!!…read more If you're reading this, it likely means you're facing one of the hardest decisions we pet lovers ever have to make...and my heart is with you. I hope our experience helps offer you some peace and guidance during this time. Dr. Jordan was truly heaven-sent. I honestly cannot imagine a more gentle, compassionate, and kind soul to walk us through such a heartbreaking and emotional experience. Saying goodbye to our sweet fur baby, Chanel, was devastating, but Dr. Jordan made it as peaceful and loving as it could possibly be. Like you, we read some of the negative reviews first. But after going through this ourselves, I can confidently say those comments don't reflect the truth of Dr. Jordan's care. I can only imagine those reviewers were deep in grief, and that pain shaped their perception. Dr. Jordan explained every step with patience and tenderness, helping us understand exactly what to expect. Thankfully, Chanel wasn't scared--she didn't yelp or flinch--and we were able to hold her close in comfort. Of course, every animal is different, and responses may vary, but in our case, it was calm and gentle. If you are in the position of making this decision now, I am so deeply sorry. But please know: you will be in compassionate hands with Dr. Jordan. He truly felt like an angel during one of the most difficult moments of our lives.

We started going there when our last pup starting having heart murmurs. The vet that we had previously was super expensive, over charging for services, over medicating our pup and we decided to get a second opinion. When we first walked into Stevens, we saw a battery operated candle with a sign that stated that is the candle was lit, someone was saying goodbye to their companion and asked all those in the lobby to keep their voices low and their cell phones on vibe or silent. I knew we had found the right place. They took care of Rockie's every need until his passing last February. Rockie had heart issues and was given one to one and a half years and nearly lasted two bc of the guidance and care received from Dr Chris. The entire staff is extremely friendly and caring of our little fur babies and they offer a myriad of services such as non-sedation dental cleaning, grooming, boarding etc. The facilities are clean and they immediately disinfect any "accidents" that may occur. We have since added a new family member named Chloe. She has already had her first visit with Dr. Chris and she is on track for a healthy and happy life. Did I also mention that they help out with rescue facilities? And did I mention how reasonably priced their services are? Well, now you know! I can't imagine taking our fur babies any place else. Huge thanks to Stevens Animal Hospital for their service and genuine care. You all are amazing!!!

On the very same day my cat, Colt, experienced a major urinary emergency, my father suffered a massive stroke, which took his life just days later. I was pulled in two impossible directions at once, and the team at Wilton Manors Animal Hospital stepped in and carried me -- and my fur-baby -- through it... Their medical care for Colt was exceptional, but what I will never forget is the love, kindness, and emotional care they showed my family and me during the worst days of my life. A very special and prominent thank-you to Rashad, who made daily calls and left voicemails updating me on Colt's condition. He didn't just provide clinical updates -- he made sure I knew Colt was doing well, that I didn't need to worry, and that I should focus fully on my family and my father during his stroke and passing. That level of compassion is rare. It was genuine, steady, and deeply comforting when I needed it most. Colt is thriving today because of this incredible team, and I will be forever grateful. This is now -- without question -- my forever veterinary practice for all current and future pets. I truly cannot offer higher praise or deeper thanks for the care they showed my fur-baby and my family during our loss. From the bottom of my heart: thank you, The Hirt Family & Colt

They did the initial exam for my small dog, bloodwork, and some other things to prepare for her surgery which is booked next week! If you are in an emergency, this is the only place in the area I would ever trust. Before we came to VEG, we sat at another ER for 2.5 hours only to be told Jack wasn't 'critical enough' to be a priority and we had to continue to wait. I knew in my gut something was wrong, so we left and rushed straight to VEG. The second we walked into VEG, they saw him immediately, and I truly believe the attentive staff is the reason he's still here today. Jack is a senior with a Grade 5 heart murmur and Addison's Disease, and it turned out what he was experiencing was a life-threatening Addisonian crisis. His care is a delicate balancing act, but for 48 hours, the team was so meticulous, managing his IV fluids with total precision to save his kidneys without hurting his heart. Throughout it all, they treated Jack with so much love and attention; he was as cared for as if he were their own. Seeing my little man walk out of there with high energy and his appetite back feels like a miracle. They didn't just stop at the emergency, either; they even reached out to Jack's internist to make sure she understood exactly what took place so we can have a solid long-term plan for his medications. Mitch, Kat, Jamie and the rest of the nurses were so incredibly kind, and Dr. Kagan's expertise was the only thing that gave me peace of mind during the scariest 48 hours. The VEG team leads with both science and a massive amount of heart. We are so grateful!

I went to one emergency hospital for overnight hospitalization and was very unimpressed by what I experienced. I then went to VEG Ft Lauderdale and was warmly greeted by the staff. Dr. Casali took detailed note of the timeline and treatments my dog had received so far. He was able to communicate his expected treatment plan, at what point that treatment plan could change (depending on response to each step of treatment), and then performed the foreign body surgery. My dog spent 33 hours at VEG, and each nurse that tended to my dog was fantastic and caring. Nahyr, Brit, and Hannah took fantastic care of not only my dog, but of me as I did not leave my dog's side. My dog is a fearful dog, and all of the staff took care to respect her needs. By the end of our time at VEG, my dog was able to be hand-fed by Nahyr and even took a liking to her. In addition to the nurses, the front desk staff were also caring and attentive. As every pet parent hopes to never experience an emergency with their pet, I take comfort in knowing the staff at VEG are ready to take on the challenges this field brings. As someone who has been in the animal welfare field for 19 years, I can safely say Dr. Casali and the whole team at VEG are the example to follow.
