I have now purchased 3 palms from Atlanta Palms and had them delivered and installed. I worked with Willie who was absolutely awesome! He is so knowledgeable about their stock including when new arrivals would be available. He is also knowledgeable about palms in general and helping us make good choices for local plantings. He set up the deliveries and made sure everything was done correctly. I also had one conversation with an owner that was very helpful. They all seem to work well as a team and support one another. We needed palm trees to plant and/or pot around our new pool and Atlanta Palms looked like a good place to start. Some of these plants were monstrous but there were plenty in smaller sizes. We settled on a large-ish Pygmy Date Palm and two decent-sized Windmill Palms. This might have been a 5-star review except for one thing: delivery. We live exactly 30 miles from the store so we paid for delivery and, on that day, we waited and waited and...???? No trees. Apparently, no one in the truck had a map app and our trees were delivered to someone else. The next day, our trees arrived and a small bonus plant made up for the botched delivery. Everything was fantastic. We love our 2 palm trees. One was small, about 2 ft tall, the other one was larger, about 7 ft tall. They are both doing great. We brought the small one home with us and planted it ourselves and the Atlanta Palm Tree Company people delivered the bigger one and planted it for us. I bought a mule palm from Atlanta Palms a couple months ago. It stayed in its plastic tub for a week before I had a chance to plant it in the ground. I used just regular outdoor soil that you'd get from Lowe's or Ace or Home Depot, and now with spring weather it's doing great! Vibrant green and lots of new growth.
