Located in a busy shopping plaza and street in Kennesaw, this store is massive and filled with all of the libations and mix-ins that you can dream of. Total Wine is a brand that I like and always have high expectations of regarding their selection. If you want to find a new bev to love, looking for a gift for an event host or even a cigar to relax with - they've got it covered. It's been a while since I've had questions, but love that their team is well-versed in what's available and are eager to assist if needed. When I visited it was packed! They had 3-4 lanes open checking people out and that really made all of the difference when it came to my checkout time. I went in knowing exactly what I was purchasing, found it and was out of the store in less than 20 minutes, (including me lollygagging for a few). Don't forget to sign up for their rewards!

They also carry beer, mixers, accessories, and gift items, so it's an easy place to pick up everything at once. I also appreciate that the store is organized well enough that you can browse without feeling completely overwhelmed. If I'm looking for something specific or want a recommendation, the staff is generally knowledgeable and helpful, particularly in the wine and spirits sections. That seems to be one of the stronger points of this location overall. The only reason I'd stop short of 5 stars is that service can be a little inconsistent depending on how busy they are. Sometimes checkout moves quickly, and other times it can take longer than you'd expect for a store this size. It's located in Barrett Pavilion, so there's plenty of parking and it's easy to combine with other errands in the area.

The prices are amazing. We met the owner and he knows what he's doing. He picks quality over quantity. I have lived all over the US, and this place breathes fresh air into my ability to find quality spirits. Bourbon? Look no further. This is your place. Hazy IPA beer? Look no further. Okay, buckle up, because Sprayberry is an absolute ride--and no, I'm not talking about a roller…read morecoaster. I'm talking about a liquid wonderland where every aisle is like a magical portal to a new world of booze. You think you're just popping in for a bottle of wine? THINK AGAIN. You'll leave with a cart full of treasures and a grin on your face like a kid in a candy store. Selection? Oh my goodness, this place is a booze buffet of EPIC proportions. From "I-can't-believe-this-exists" whiskey to that perfect bottle of gin that makes your gin & tonic feel like you've just been hugged by a cloud, they've got it. Seriously, if there's a drink out there, it's in here. You could probably walk in blindfolded, point to a random shelf, and end up with a bottle that makes you feel like a cocktail wizard. Staff? Oh, they're not just employees. They're your personal boozy Yodas. These guys KNOW their stuff. Ask them for a whiskey recommendation, and they'll give you a choice that feels like it was handpicked by the spirit gods themselves. They'll also make you feel like you're part of an exclusive club (the cool kind, not the "here's your membership card" kind). The best part? They don't look at you weird when you ask about "that one weird liqueur you saw on a travel show" and want to try it for no reason. They're like, "Oh yeah, we've got that. Let's go!" Also, how are they so chill? You'll wander through the aisles, occasionally hearing the gentle clink of bottles as the staff casually chats about their latest cocktail experiments like they're inventing new potions for Hogwarts. This place isn't just about buying booze--it's about living your best life. You'll find everything you need to impress your friends at your next party (like a fancy bottle of absinthe that looks like it belongs in a 1920s Parisian speakeasy). Plus, they often have tastings, which are insane--you'll try stuff you didn't even know existed. It's like a booze buffet where everything is free... as long as you buy something. And the store? It's basically a magical boozy labyrinth. Everything's perfectly arranged so that no matter how many bottles you pick up, you feel like you're in control, even when you're three drinks in and considering buying that absurdly expensive bottle of tequila that looks like it could be the key to a hidden treasure chest. In short: sprayberry is the Disneyland of liquor stores. It's whimsical, it's wild, and it will leave you feeling like you've just had a wild night out--even if you're still at home sipping your new favorite whiskey. 10/10 would recommend for anyone who loves a good drink and a whole lot of fun.

A solid spot to pick up your favorite wine, spirits, beer and even, cigar!…read more Located on Roswell Road in Marietta, on the corner of Robinson and right above the Kroger sits this Sherlock's location. It may not look like a big place from the outside, but you will be pleasantly surprised at the sprawling and expertly laid out interior! I ventured in a few times pre-Covid with no complaints and I can say that I enjoy this spot a little more now given their response. They have clear signs stating masks are required, the staff is wearing masks at all times, directional signage in on the floor and they keep the place really clean. Parking is kind of a nightmare, especially if they are busy. The Robinson side of the building is the best bet for easy access in and out of your spot, as the Roswell Road part of the lot features a few spots, but when they are all full backing out safely can be a little tough as this part of the lot is narrow. Additionally, something to look out for on the Robinson side is the sloped pass thru that folks use to shoot off of Robinson into the parking lot below. These folks don't pay attention and fly up and down this, so be mindful and careful! The layout of the place is fantastic and the building is well lit from corner to corner. When you walk in you are greeted with a few options, you can head to the left and scope out wines from all over the place, head the right to find your favorite beer and/or liquor or you can run straight into the cigar room or fine wine area. They have a great selection, not the largest and they don't feature a lot specialty or local spirits, but for the size it is a solid selection and variety. Also, pricing is decent as well. While a few of the other chain stores have slightly lower prices on some of the major brands, but for a convenience factor, I don't mind paying the extra dollar or two. Overall, this location of Sherlock's is a solid liquor store with a decent variety, fair prices and friendly service!

They had neon yellow tape at checkout to help enforce social distancing. That's the first I've seen and I definitely appreciated Sherlock's focus on safety! Employees aren't overly friendly. I was a first-time visitor and needed help finding a special bottle of bourbon. I had the name/brand in mind and just wanted someone to point me in the right direction. I felt the employee was rude about it - maybe it was just the stress of the viral season - but it was unnecessary. That's why this wasn't a five-star visit for me. Ultimately, I found what I wanted. The bourbon was purchased as a birthday gift and the recipient was very pleased.
