Bought two kegs, they only take cash deposits. And apparently you have to bring them back within a month if you want your deposit back. I work in the industry and know the distributors don't care about and expect long time (months/years) on getting their kegs back. Pretty lame. Steel doesn't have a shelf life and the distributors take them back years later no problem. Scamming. read more

Nice bottle shop with a great selection. I was there specifically for the beer - they have a good selection of bottles and cans that it appears is growing by their own design. I was helped by the friendly staff and he toured and explained the unique barrel aged stouts and other sours and IPA's they had for sale. He explained they were growing their selection and best to follow them on Facebook to know of new arrivals. They also had full wine and alcohol selection as well. Sprayberry Bottle Shop (SBS) is a first rate liquor store, particularly if you are very into bourbon, whiskey, tequila, or beer. Brij, the second generation owner has transformed this place from a sleepy ok neighborhood liquor store to THE place to find a great selection of (often limited release) bourbons, whiskeys, tequilas and beers. They also have a very nice selection of wines. The staff is very approachable, knowledgeable, and able to add solid insights and recommendations for those that aren't sure what to pick. Outside of another, more inner-city Atlanta shop, this is the best craft beer selection you'll find in the entire state of Georgia. They always keep fresh releases rolling in, and have coolers stacked full of all the stuff you'll want (and barely any of the macro-brew junk you don't). They're always the first in the area to get any local craft releases, and should be your first stop for anything local to GA. There aren't any bargains here, but their pricing seems to be in line with most other local shops. My only minor caveat -- if you're looking to shop without talking to anyone, this probably isn't the place to shop. Each time I've visited, no less than three different people have asked if I needed help over the course of a five-minute visit. This doesn't bother me, but if you prefer to browse without being harassed, I could see how this might be slightly annoying. read more

A family owned and operated business, all the bases are coveted, from wine to craft beer to liquor. Don't let the sketchtastic exterior put you off. Nice selection of crafts -- many chilled -- and some pretty rare ones as well. Sandy Plains is not my normal corridor but I had some time to kill and decided to give this place a shot. Not a big place, but well stocked if cramped. Prices are pretty good too, with bombers going for $7.49 that I have seen higher elsewhere. I went with a Stone Matt's Burning Rosids bomber and a six of Westbrook's White Thai, one of my fav food beers. The Stone turned out to be a wonderfully complex saison that I had not had before. Might've been lucky, but that is about as good as it gets going into a bottle shop cold. I'll keep swinging by to see if they can keep it up. read more
