Atiyeh's Carpet & Cleaning is the best company to work with. Several years ago I purchased carpet for my family room. They were so knowledgeable about the different options they gave me in choosing carpet. Explaining the importance of the upgraded carpet pad that would extend the life of the carpet.. Last week I called them to clean my carpet from some remodeling that was done. Atiyeh's sent Micah. . . He was thoughtful and respectful and did incredible work! He removed stains that looked impossible to get out. He finished with the best results. I entrusted my home to Atiyeh's, and they exceeded my expectations! They are the very best and do exceptional work! read more

I hired Atiyeh Bros to clean the carpets in our home as well as 2 couches. They showed up with 2 technicians and got to work quickly. They were very friendly, offering to remove their shoes to come inside our home. Their service was great and everything turned out looking wonderful! read more

Wow, just got our rugs back- look great and the people who delivered it moved our dinning room table, spread out the rug, checked it, made sure that we were happy. Replaced the furniture - So nicely cleaned rug and super service. Will certainly be calling them back for other rugs. Love them! read more

Huge, beautiful showroom with a great selection of carpets from all over the world and at great price points. The staff is really helpful and knowledgeable about the different weaves, textures and knots that go into each of the unique carpets. We had our wool carpet cleaned here and it came out perfect and so soft and silky smooth and the color was brighter. They also trimmed the side threads of the carpet and combed it out really nice. Depending on your carpet size and how dirty it is they can give you a quote free of charge. They have a side entry door for drop offs and pick ups which is convienent. Overall, we are happy with the service and quality of work they provide. read more

I've taken high quality rugs, rugs from IKEA and everything in between to Atiyeh and they are the best! They clean and restore rugs to better than new, usually faster than I expect. Great customer service too read more

These guys offer great service. They will pick up the rugs and return them in just a few weeks. The did a great job on an Ethan Allen rug I thought was stained. It looks better than when it was new. Thanks, Atiyeh Bros. read more

I use to think that I could not use Atiyeh for cleaning my carpets. Thinking that they were more expensive then others. Atiyeh is not more expensive and they are very professional and personal - I was amazed and will never use another company to clean my carpets. read more

This place is full of miracle workers! They have made my white shag carpet pristine 3 times! They edged a vintage carpet remnant and turned it into a hallway runner for me. And most recently, they cleaned the cat pee out of an Art Deco wool covered chair I picked up. It smells like nothing now, and it didn't change the fabric one bit. I'll never trust my textiles to anyone else. read more

Expensive to clean a rug but can't beat their service and attitude. We took an 8x10 for cleaning and they were flexible with storage after job was complete and helped with loading and unloading to truck. Super friendly and understanding staff. read more

They do great work, are straightforward... they did a repair for me that was beautiful, and final price was below their estimate. Look no further for rug cleaning. read more

After a major flood in my home I had them pickup and clean several of my Karastan carpets. The carpets were beautiful and I have no problem with the cleaning. The problem is the pad. It sheds constantly and with each vacuuming or dusting I need to clean bits of the pad that is sloughing off!! I wish I'd called them sooner and asked to change the pads. Lesson learned don't wait to complain!! read more

I was very pleased with the in-home carpet cleaning and an woven rug sent out to Atiyeh's cleaning plant. The contacts by phone and in person were friendly and courteous. When the salesman came to do an estimate for wall to wall carpets he was very knowledgeable. He discussed options, things that would and wouldn't work, the cleaning process and costs. Once we agreed to go ahead with the cleaning service he called and got us an appointment right away! Also, he took our area rug with him. The gentleman who came to our home to do the cleaning knew what he was doing. He was efficient, attentive and checked in with us frequently. My carpets are clean, the area rug looks brighter and lays much flatter than before. Atiyeh's is very competitively priced with excellent service, I highly recommend them. read more

I had this company clean a rug my old dog had unfortunately been peeing on for some time. The stink was considerable. They removed the fringe and revived the rug. Colors are vibrant and no smell. This company charges a fair amount for their work but every penny is worth it. I was very happy with both the process and the outcome. read more

Great customer service. I took my area rug in and they were very professional. It was also completed a couple days earlier than what they said. Definitely would use there service again. read more

Just wanted to thank Atiyeh in Portland for taking extra time & energy to make me a happy customer. I took an 8'x11' Belgian area rug in for cleaning and when I got it back to my house it had a very strong odor to it that wasn't there before. The rug looked great! Cleaner than I've ever seen it. I thought the odor would dissipate but it stuck around and I knew I couldn't live with it in my living room that way. Atiyeh thought the odor I smelled may have been their cleaning solution/shampoo so they gladly came & picked it up, ran it through a rinse cycle not once but twice (they called and said they wanted to do it once more because they could still detect the odor) and delivered back in excellent condition. No offensive odor, and they never made me feel like I was asking too much. I appreciate them making it right and the on point customer service I received. Thank you! read more

Atiyeh Bros - Clean! So glad I did it. - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Portland, Oregon

Brought two of my Persian rugs to Atiyeh and they did such an amazing job. They even gave a free appraisal of the rugs, which is 10x more than I purchased them. Tim even provided detail information on where it was made authentic persian versus Indian-Persian. Who knew. The 15% discount is amazing, but you'll probably need it if you have a rug you haven't clean for a year; because it may need to go through the ringer two times, making the cost more. Pleasant people and great service. Highly recommend. read more

A very good selection of high-quality rugs. And very capable rug cleaning and repair. I have antique Persian rugs and wouldn't have them cleaned by anyone else read more

As a long time customer I called to make an appointment to spot treat a rug which my animal had thrown up on. I didn't want to bring it in because it would require movers. The owner was beyond rude and laughed about how rude he was. Then he informed me he didn't want my business. read more

I have several beautiful Persian rugs -- and two big furry dogs. Atiyeh Brothers cleaned my rugs and they now look fantastic! I hadn't realized how dirty the rugs (and dogs) were until I got the rugs back. Thank you so much! read more

I really don't write reviews often but I felt called to for this place. Tim, the service manager?, went above and beyond. I had a super difficult rug to clean - kind of a unique knobby wool deal with 10 years of pet hair wrapped around to bottom of each knob. When we moved we decided to get it professionally cleaned and these guys gave it their standard treatment and delivered it back. It was still dirty and although I was doubtful that this rug was actually cleanable I called. They picked it back up. On the day it was scheduled for delivery back to us, Tim called me and said he had pulled it off the line because it was still not cleaned and had someone working on it for two hours with a special method. They delivered it a few days later nice and clean. read more

A good oriental rug merchant can be hard to find. Fortunately we have Atiyeh Bros. in Portland. They are professional, very competent, nice and the price is fair. We have two large rugs which needed cleaning and repair. Tim took the time to explain everything to me over the phone. His crew of two came, moved furniture, took the rugs and returned them about two weeks later. The care taken by these fellows was extraordinary. The results were excellent and they exceeded my expectations in every way. They are trustworthy and I would recommend them to anyone needing rug washing and repair. read more

If I could give Atiyeh Brothers 6 stars, I would! I don't know what has happened to Atiyeh Bros. I have been using them for 25 years. First in Eugene and then when I moved to Portland. About 3 months ago I had a tragic loss of one of my dogs and the called Atiyehs to pick up the carpets. I have scheduled 3 deliveries and never have they called me with a delivery window or called me at all. So I schedule it again and the call was suppose to come yesterday for the delivery window. Once again; NO CALLS. Yesterday, I had it and left 3 ugly messages on their phone. Even though they opened at 7:30, NO ONE called me back. So I called this morning, one person hung up on me while supposedly transferring me to his manager and the second one was a boy who kept telling me "to watch my tone". I'm an elderly woman and not use to some boy in customer service telling me that. So I yelled a couple not nice compliments and hung up on him. My carpets arrived this morning. They were cleaned adequately, but they had added on "odor mitigation". For one 7' X 9' and one 6' X 4', the bill was a $540 odd dollars. That's a lot to be told to "watch my tone". I thought something must be wrong because never have had an experience like this with Atiyeh's. And, I never will again, because the rug I had to use while these were being cleaned, will be going to Renaissance. read more

Professional and friendly staff with outstanding service. Every 10-15 years they take my rugs and return them spotless. Pricey but not if you consider how infrequently I use them (and clean between years myself). Turns out many of the staff have been with the firm for decades, which says something about the company. Highly recommend. read more

Atiyeh Bros' cleans and repairs any type of area rug. If the size is manageable, you get a discount for dropping it off and picking it up, but if it's too large to manage, just arrange for them to pick it up - I've heard they will even help move the furniture off the rug, then put the furniture back when they deliver your clean rug. I prefer dropping it off for the opportunity to talk with someone who is interested and knowledgeable about my rug's origin, and see the facility! Considering what they do to thoroughly clean and care for your rug, I believe they are very reasonably priced and wouldn't go anywhere else. This short Youtube video on their website reminds me why it feels so good to pay a knowledgeable person to do a job right: http://atiyehbros.com/rug-cleaning-and-repair/area-rug-cleaning/ read more

The folks at Atiyeh Brothers are extremely knowledgeable. I learn something new about each tribal rug I take in for cleaning and/or repair. This is the only company I trust with my beloved hand-woven rugs! read more

Great communication and service. We had some wet concrete spilled on the new wool carpet that had just been installed in a home,(another story). Brian had someone out there right away to see if anything could be done about it. Unfortunately not, but totally understandable and much appreciated for the quick response. On top of that, he did not change us anything for giving it a try. Highly recommend Atiyeh Brothers for your carpet needs. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the cleaning of a very expensive piece of furniture...not only was the cleaning very poor -I had to encounter a hassle about a $2.00 credit that they did not want to honor for an online coupon. The excuse...it was a silk fabric. This is information that should be rendered prior to cleaning. I would have preferred to find another source who had experience with a fine fabric.Spots were not removed and there are areas that look "bleached/lighted/overworked. Also they made no apologies or response to re-work-talked to some method used to clean rugs and of course the "great " online discount I learned a great lesson here ......They should stick with cleaning rugs! read more

My mother has been using Atiyeh Brothers for her rug cleaning for years. They do an excellent job! We wouldn't use anyone else to take care of her beautiful rugs! I recommend them whenever I can! read more

We dropped off a rug here for cleaning. It took a bit longer than expected to get it back, but they were upfront with us about that possibility. The rug looked great after they finished. They were able to get some parts of the rug cleaner than others, probably due to the age and soil level, but overall I was happy with the cleaning job. read more

I have been using Atiyeh Brothers since first moving to Portland in 1969 (Vic was in the state senate then, later to become governor) they may not be the cheapest, but I've never used anybody else, but they have always been spot on with service, quality and value. With handmade rugs from around the world you want someone who's expertise in rug care proceeds them. read more

Love Atiyeh bros and if you love your rugs, you will too! Had a pick up at my old house, two weeks of cleaning my eight Tibetan rugs, and a drop off at my new condo. It went perfectly and the delivery guys were amazing, getting the pad sized just right to the rug. Rugs are gorgeous! read more

This is the second time Atiyeh has cleaned our office carpeting. They did a great job, especially on some very icky spots. They were professional, on time, and reasonable for all that they did. I would not hesitate to recommend them for commercial carpet cleaning. read more

Atiyeh Bros just cleaned our interior carpets. They were there on time, priced fairly and did a fantastic job. Thank you Brian M.

I knew Atiyeh Brothers as primarily a long established business selling very nice rugs and cleaning of the same. They are all of that but also have very competitive prices on carpet for your home or office. The installers were top notch as you would expect and very professional. The team stayed in touch with us before, during and after the installation. I cannot say enough good things about Atiyeh Brothers. read more

we got a great deal on an antique persian rug through eBay but needed a rug pad to keep from wiping out--these big fuzzy feet look cute but are like rollerblades on ice when on hardwood floors! much cheaper prices than online stores or {shudder} Pottery Barn. just bring in the rug and they'll custom size the pad to fit and it only took 15 min. also got some history lessons on my specific rug just cuz they love rugs so much. fyi: they also do upholstery cleaning--hopefully the humans won't find that special spot on the sofa that i can't stop nuzzling. read more

They really know what they are doing. Our rugs hadn't been cleaned in 8 years, except by carpet cleaners in place. Matt came both to pick them up and to deliver and re-place them. He's great! He knows about pads, and was friendly, polite and careful with our things. The 3 rugs look amazing. The new pads are very nice. They disposed of the old deteriorating pad. I didn't expect to see so much difference, since the rugs have been cleaned in place and we don't have animals or that much traffic. They suggested doing it again in two years. Sign me up! I'll gladly use their service again. read more
