I've been working with Jeanette over the last several months and can report she is incredibly knowledgeable, an excellent evaluator, and has improved my overall mobility (and attitude) as well as helped reduce pain. The staff is professional, polite and good natured. I am not a paid endorser - just an old dude grateful to have found someone who "gets" what I am going through. Other physical therapy practices, see you for 20 minutes, then give you a handout with exercises and stretches that you - the patient- do at home. After a car accident I was referred to this clinic for follow up. The referral was sent on 11/13. I…read morefollowed up multiple times. The first week I called I was told it was being referred to the spinal specialist and they would need to review it so they could schedule me. I called back the next week and was told they still had not reviewed it but they would send another message. I called the following week and was told it was still being reviewed but they would send an urgent message and I would hear back with 24 hours. I called back the next day and was told it takes 48 hours for a response to an urgent message. I called back the next week and they said they still did not have it. I called back again the following week and was told "Oh it's been accepted we can schedule you now". We scheduled for two weeks out. The next day I got a call saying that was an accident that I shouldn't have been scheduled because it had not been reviewed yet and they needed to cancel the appointment. Today I finally got a call saying we need to refer you to someone else. So it took 5 weeks for them to tell me that they need to send me somewhere else. Meanwhile I'm in pain and doing what I can to alleviate it. The administrative process is awful. People should not have e to wait 5 weeks for a case to be accepted or referred out. On top of that no one at the office even knew what was going on as I was given several different messages.

My (good) doctor wanted a ct scan to see the extent of the injury and all Dr. Komatsu did was another x-ray that showed the same thing I knew before and said I was healing. How would he know?? He never did the ct scan to see the damage, not to mention it took over a month for an appointment. This is my second bad experience with them. He just didn't care in the 10 minute appt I had talking to him. He didn't listen to what I was saying, I felt invisible. He showed me the brace I needed on Amazon so I could buy one!! Then he referred physical therapy so I could get a wrist brace from them and they don't even do that! It's like he wanted me to be someone else's problem. Don't waste your time with this place. So now I have a broken wrist and have no idea what to do...if I could give zero stars I would.

I ruptured my achilles tendon playing tennis (ouch!!) and after months with my foot immobile (boot, another boot, cast, another boot) I started physical therapy for the first time. Allison is my physical therapist and she is knowledgeable, friendly, and answers any questions that I have regarding the treatment. A real professional.The staff who I have met have also been great. If people are so inspired to write a review about their doctor/experience on yelp (which doesn't happen a lot, mostly restaurants) it must mean a lot. I'm sooo glad I decided to call Minor and James clinic and made an appt with her. Her clinic is at the FIRST HILL BUILDING on Minor ave and James. Parking is located across the street at the parking garage. Make sure to bring the parking stub with you up so that the receptionist can stamp it. The stamp will ensure you a parking discount. Smooth experience from start to end. No long waits in between. I didn't feel rushed or just another patient. She thoughtfully listened to all my concerns & answered all my questions. She explained everything to me thoroughly and very clearly. She thoroughly examined my walk, leg, etc. and was able to pin point the problem instead of ordering a bunch of x-rays that would cost more money. I left not just very satisfied, but I even asked her to recommend me other doctors since I was so impressed with my experience! (I am currently looking for a family doctor/general physician) Anything sports medicine related, I highly recommend her.

It's rare to find a physician who is as analytical as her, but combine that with her compassion and curiosity, and you have an excellent doctor. I have a complex spine condition, and she is the only one who's been able to suss out what's going on. I've probably seen 5-6 different sports med doctors before her over the past 10 years, and I'm so glad I found her. You'll likely wait months for an appointment, but it's worth it.
