I tried to add a business yesterday and failed. So, I'm going old school and including the information in the body of the review. I attend the Central office. The address is 3831 West Charleston. You're going to want to take note of that, because this is the only one with an indoor pool. We lovingly call it, "the one with the pool". The pool makes a huge difference; but, it is not the main reason for the 5 stars. The therapists and assistants are talented, concerned, and attentive. When they are pushing me, I may be calling them some choice names in my head; but, when I can go out to dinner and leave my walker home, I'm singing their praises. My life has changed dramatically. Im grateful for their confidence and care. I'm grateful that I did not hear, "there's not much we can do until you lose 100 pounds". I have had continual input into my goals and readiness to add new exercises. I'm a fighter, that's for sure. A fighter needs a good corner. I have that with Kelly Hawkins. The staff is very attentive. They even noticed my new haurcut! It didn't get me out of the sit to stands or side steps; but it's nice to be noticed. I meet with my assigned physical therapist at every session. The staff who is not assigned to me still no more and remark on my progress. While they have yet to provide the parade or stickers they keep promising, I know my progress matters. I'm not exaggerating or being dramatic when I write that they helped to save my family and me. You need a referral if you are going through insurance. They do offer a program called Corporate Fit. This program allows you access to the gym and pool, as well as support and consult. I believe it is $40 a month for one person and $60 for a couple. Friends of mine used to drive me to pt and they were allowed to join me in the pool. They joined through Corporate Fit and love it. My husband works out with me when work permits. They are flexible and accomadting, especially with cancellations and rescheduling. You do have to bring your own towel; but if you firget, they lend you one. You will get some sass over it; but, you get the towel. You get the sass because the staff is young and energetic. It's never disrespectful and adds to the positive energy and feeling of acceptance. I think they offer massage, but I may be wrong. I get those at home from a super supportive husband, but that's a different review!

This review is for Dr. Abdi Raissi, MD. He's a foot and ankle specialist only. I had a hard fall on…read moremy tile floor this July and was a mess, but I was seeing my PT in a few days, and he didn't think my right foot was broken (I did, though). It wasn't until I got an X-ray 2 weeks later, while walking around on my heel, that I found out I'd broken my 5th metatarsal. No wonder it had hurt so badly, developed a hematoma, and swelled up like a marshmallow! DOC normally won't see patients with a broken foot after 7-10 days, but Dr. Raissi squeezed me in at week 3, hence the 5 stars going to him. He was very personable, answered all my questions, asked if I take vitamin D (always), and he was happy at how my bone was healing thus far without any medical guidance other than Google: elevate, ice, stop if it hurts, wear good shoes, do light exercise if tolerated to encourage bone growth, etc. He even let me wear my sandals out because they're stiff-soled and cover most of my foot. I was so worried I'd be ordered to wear a boot, and I need my right foot to drive. I saw him again at week 8 and was over 90% healed. I'm at week 9, feeling 99% better, and back to my evening walks in my Nikes! I hope to never break a foot bone again, but now I have a nice and competent doctor if I need one in a jif. Dr. Raissi also runs on time unless you get squeezed in like I did at my first appt. Tip: At the DI location, the waiting area is really warm and the exam rooms and X-ray room are freezing, so dress in layers.

I have been very pleased with his care. He is not a "rush into surgery" physician, but provides a variety of non-surgical options to consider first. I may wait a few minutes in the exam room, but I feel he's giving another patient the same time and attention he will shortly give to me. Dr. Baldauf is not a "feel good" doctor, i.e., he is not going to tell you something you just want to hear - he tells it like it is - this is exactly the type of doctor I want. He gives you upfront his medical opinion, recommendations on how to proceed, and the probable outcome for various scenarios. He is very compassionate. I have had an issue that has been difficult to identify and resolve. He stated to me that he would not give up; that together we would find an answer. To date, he has kept that promise and we continue to move forward. Even if I had an orthopedic issue that was outside of what Dr. Baldauf usually treats, I would want him to be my doctor if at all possible. Thank you, Dr. Baldauf, for staying by my side and continuing to work with me. (NOTE: I am in Las Vegas, NV, not Parish, FL.)

After having two kids back to back and being near 40, I made the wise choice to work with their pelvic floor therapist. Not only did she come to my house on my schedule, we also worked out a therapy plan that fit within my needs and that would get me to where I wanted to be quickly. I have noticed that they have other services like cupping, dry needling and massage therapy so I know I will be utilizing them and recommending them to others in the future. Also - they put on a fantastic Pinots and Pilates that I participated in and I had a blast and can't wait for the next one!

While I was in the waiting room, I was in the worst pain in my life and could barely walk down the hall to the doctors exam room, which was located in the back of the building. The office is amazing and has handles on the wall so that you can hold onto them. Also, medical assistant offered her hand to me to help me walk back to the exam room. I screamed out in pain and they checked on me and brought me a glass of water and showed care and concern that I was in pain. Please let this work. Surgery scheduled for December 30. 2024. I am bed bound in the worst pain of my life and surgery is my only option. I sympathize about the past situations I read about and my heart aches for you. If i could give a million start I would, this man...this man goes out of his way for his patients…read moreeven 1 year out from surgery, im speaking from experience...1 year ago today I was admitted into the hospital due to my back pain being so severe I couldn't take it anymore, Dr. Lee had the hospital treat me like I was literally royalty, I was immediately taken into ct & mri scans had labs done and told i would be staying & that Dr. Lee would be there 1st thing in the morning & sure enough bright & early he was the 1st face to greet me & explained in detail what was going on and what needed done, let's face it, back surgery is a scary adventure and I was scared to death, I almost backed out when I got down stairs (thank God my kids were there) Dr. Lee even walked bedside with me to OR, he introduced everyone, it was a way to keep the nerves away & it worked long enough for me to be knocked out & wake up in icu, now I know icu sounds scary, ut he wanted to make sure I was getting 1on 1 care right after surgery and im not mad at him for it, I received the best care ever and even made a few friends that I still talk to, I went from icu to "his floor" yes he has his own floor for his patients and as someone thats grown up in Vegas, we know the stories about the hospitals & care and im here to say id go back to Valley hospital anyway after the great care I received...anyways I stayed on "his" floor for I believe 1 full week before being released and I was still impressed with the calls , the checking in on me from hospital stagg, office staff and even Dr. Lee himself, I had deliveries of items i didn't know anything about but that Dr. Lee wanted me to use, a bone stimulator as well as a device to help with swelling and soreness, both were obviously needed and used as directed, ive had a few bumps in this long road and Dr.Lee has been with me thru every one, I have nerve damage from my insurance dragging their feet on getting things done sooner, and Dr. Lee is right here with me still 1 year after surgery walking me through it, he has returned calls late at night, he has fought with my insurance to make sure ive received the care needed (literally called while in exam room with me and fought with the adjuster himself) I could keep going for days about the impressive above & beyond this man does for his patients, ive seen it with other patients as well, I've never experienced a long wait at his office or bad care from any staff member, they've ALL been very caring and good to me, his txt line is amazing and very responsive, the only negative I have is all good things must come to an end and that means my stellar review also must come to an end...so to those that are on the fence about having back surgery with Dr. Lee don't even stress he has you 1000000000% i will be recommending him till my last breath, him & his staff will become part of your family (the good part...lol) & if Dr. Lee happens to read this, thank you for all that you do, you are loved by sooooo many of your patients (I speak to them every visit in waiting room). I cannot thank you enough for going above & beyond and being just a genuine person.

No matter what setting you are in, when you are a doctor, you have a duty to help people in need. Dr. Daniel Lee fell short in that area. I left feeling unheard, dismissed, disappointed, misdiagnosed , and no closer to resolving my pain. I would not recommend him. Poor morals, he should be ashamed as a spinal surgeon.

When I was in the ICU at Sunrise Hospital, my mom and grandma toured other locations, but ended up choosing this location because of Debbie! Her heartwarming and friendly personality made them feel welcome. I was definitely nervous about going to a new place with new people. However, after being here for 10 days so far, I absolutely love it here. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming here. All of the doctors, nurses, RTs, CNAs, therapists, etc. are all so kind and are all generally concerned about my health and getting me back up on my feet. I would like to especially thank: Debbie, Jazell, Terra, Elizabeth, Gary, Rob, Craig, Nikki, Molly, Bernie, Marvin, June, Annette, Garrett, Janet, and more but l can't remember their names sorry! They really helped me a lot and I loved talking to them. I have bad anxiety, especially at night, and they always reassured me that everything is okay and that I will be out as soon as possible. I always look forward to therapy here because they're all encouraging me to push myself so I can recover faster. It's very home-like here! We're allowed to roam around the lobby and even outside for fresh air! My family can come visit whenever and we can stay in the room, lobby, and outside. I wake up early to do therapy (I don't mind it, I love it) and the rest of the day I can do whatever. The staff comes in and checks on me as well. It may take awhile for staff to come in and help, but I understand because they're really busy! If I had to recommend a long term facility to anyone, I would definitely pick Kindred Hospital on Flamingo! Debbie is the reason why my mom and grandma picked this long term facility to help me recover. When I was in the ICU at Sunrise Hospital, my mom and grandma toured other locations, but ended up choosing this location because of Debbie! Her heartwarming and friendly personality made them feel welcome. She's so nice and caring. She always has a big smile on her face when she sees me and even gave me a coloring book and a journal to occupy myself. Debbie made sure that I was always safe and comfortable. She told me if I ever had a problem or concern to let her know right away. I consider Debbie as a third grandma. She's so sweet and hugs me. She would take her time to come to my room and visit me. Seeing her always makes my day! I can't thank Debbie enough of what she has done for me and my family. Debbie will always be with me and I will always think about her! Thank you Debbie for everything you did for me!!!
