I Had two shoulders injuries. My right had become a frozen shoulder. The pain was unbearable. My…read moreleft was so bad it radiated down into my chest. The Orthopedic Doctor did not even believe me, he thought I was one of those people looking for pain medication. I never even asked for any. Finally, He relented to an MRI. This two months later. No apologies, He said to go to physical therapy. I had a torn rotator cuff. And a A.C injury. It would lead to major surgery. My first day of physical therapy, she took may froze arm and yanked it skyward. I came close to passing out. I never went back. I eventually taught myself to get my own arm to work again. But the pain was still there. I heard ads for QC Kinetix and eventually, my husband and I decided to try them. I am on my last treatment. I would have had to give up my job without them. I am completely pain free. The thing is you have to do the exercises! I am very driven to not have this horrible pain. You are part of a team with them. I can sleep on my sides now. Schneider has impeccable credentials, graduated from the Wisconsin Medical College, residency at the University of Nebraska, specialty training at the elite Indiana Hand Center in Indianapolis. He's part of an orthopedic clinic that has very specific subspecialists, Schneider focuses on hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries and problems. I like his bedside manner, he did not underestimate my intelligence, he is a good listener, and his staff is polite and efficient. Sadly, my pitching career is over.

I went through the motions of the PT with her completely uncomfortable. I also had a visit with Dr. Katie Van Scyoc, DPY, CFTPT at the Doctor's Ct office. I had strange vibes from her during the appointment. I told her my symptoms and then she performed an internal vaginal exam to test muscle strength. I was uncomfortable with her and felt the first visit was a complete waste of time since she gave me no further info, not even a handout of exercises to do in between visits. I switched to a PT in the Westhaven building. When this PT was reviewing my records she told me Scyoc did not document my internal exam, so the results were not documented either.

The reception lady's are equally professional and curious. From waiting area to PT rooms, everything is clean, comfortable and state of the art. Nice views from spacious private areas as well as excersise room. There is wheelchair accessible parking and entry. Elevator to 2nd floor, automatic doors. They have a mask policy in place, take temperature and ask questions. Everything is sanitized between patients. The staff here is definitely a Hugh part in the success of all of my healing!! I totally recommend to anyone that wants/needs healing from injury to postop care. There Physical Theary is one of the best I've work with!
