The team at ATI are sincere people, if I could rate them separately I would. The business is a ripoff. The bill for 2 hours a week for 4 weeks was over $2,900. I nearly gagged when I saw how much they soaked from the insurance company. The cost to me was near a thousand, and they charged for interviews, still within the same hour. Ripoff, ripoff, ripoff! I had two more weeks, but stopped the PT immediately. Like I said, the folks there are good people, but what I was receiving for what I was paying, I could have hired a physical therapist, which would have come to the house, tell me what to do. The exercises weren't hard nor did it produce very effective results. Some. Since I have quit PT, my problem has almost healed itself anyway. Find a cheaper place. Ask for the cost before any treatment.

ATI is next to the Woof N Purr and near the handicap parking which was helpful with my sewed up ankle.

I was looking for a close by Physical Therapy solution and here it is. Nearly new with a great eager staff. The facility and equipment all looks brand new. The individual I spoke to gave me a lot of information, but his eagerness to take care of me was very much appreciated. Lots of parking and the early and late hours allows me to fit in my busy schedule. I was asked to call the central number to set everything up as they are the experts on that side so the staff at this location can focus upon the patient's therapy needs. The central number staff seem very knowledgeable and gave me quite a few options to help my decision. I was very impressed with their attitude over the phone. I'll be using another one initially as it is affiliated with my doctor. But when I can, I intend to switch.

Physical Therapy for low back pain. Challenging, but with one on one instruction has led to great improvement.

Attentive staff, competent, encouraging. No pain left. I went on my doctor's recommendation, and I would go back.

I visited Sports Medicine Clinic of North Texas in February for a consultation for an arthroscopy…read morefor a torn meniscus. The surgeon reviewed my MRI results and decided we could move forward. I was out of town for most of the month of March but we were going to schedule surgery for early April and they wanted me to get blood work done upon my return. I received a garbled message from physician's assistant so I called back to check on status of surgery and next steps but my call went voice more than 4 times without a return call. I did receive a call back once while I was going through customs and could not pick up. But again voicemail message not clear. I then found out from my insurance company that the surgery was denied because the insurance company wanted me to try physical therapy first, which I will do. But again no direction from this office to move forward with PT. I am deeply concerned about the lack of communication from this office. If they did not want to take on my case, they could've had the courtesy to reach me again as I left several messages with them. I should not assume that they do not want to treat me. I know doctors' offices get busy, but lack of communication is no excuse. I chose this clinic because I tore my ACL over 25 years ago in a skiing tumble, and the surgeon I saw at this clinic encouraged me to exercise it and build my up my knee strength, which I did. He said I was coping well without the ACL and I had no instability. He advised me not to have surgery, but recommended to ski with a knee brace, which I have been doing since then. However, this torn meniscus is a bear and impacts any movement with pivoting. Not sure I will be able to ski again. I hope the lack of communication from this clinic is not happening with other potential patients and I am saddened that we could not move forward.

My PT said because of this my prior PT sessions were actually hurting and not helping. Very long wait times. I sat in one of the patient rooms for 45 minutes to see the doctor for him to finally come in and just say "wear a boot" and that's it. This doctor asked if I ever wanted to run again. I'm in my thirties. Yes, I would like to run again. Is this not a sports medicine clinic? I asked for my medical records so I could see a different doctor and that was nearly a week ago. No response. They don't really seem that interested in getting patients healed up. If they are there's definitely not a sense of urgency. They do offer shockwave and PRP injections but neither are covered by insurance and the research on these treatments is mixed. They won't say that though. If you want shockwave, go down the street and there's a beauty and health clinic that offers it for 20% less. They may be good surgeons but my treatment plan has been very confusing and I am still in pain daily.

Clearly, he provided care based on what they wanted him to care for instead of taking care of what actually needed to be taken care of. I had two torn ligaments in my knee and was only given therapy 4 four weeks. As of today, after being released, my knee is still swelling and unstable and he has released me with maximum medical improvement. On my last visit to him,my appointment was scheduled for 11:00 am. I arrived at 10:50 am and was placed in a room for over an hour where he never came in until time to close for the day. They closed early to go view the eclipse. When he entered, he stated that he was ordering 4 more weeks of therapy at an outside facility and never scheduled it. Instead, he sent a Maximum medical improvement to the insurance and released me. Still today, my knee is unstable and swollen. Clearly he works for the insurance company and not the injured employee.
