From appointment scheduling, billing questions and general questions the team here exceeds my expectations for a healthcare provider. My Physical Therapist, Sarah Neal has done a fantastic job helping me recover from a sprained ankle, and torn tendon issues. She brings high enthusiasm to the client sessions and has genuine interest in helping you recover from your injury quickly but without rushing you through the PT process. In addition she takes the time to teach exercises to do between sessions and insures you know proper positions/movement. In short, she takes the time necessary to achive positive results for her clients. I have been to other PT clinics in the past, and they spend 15 minutes with you and move you through until insurance is done. At Elite PT you have a 30 minute session with your therapist and then guided exercises to insure you are progressing in the PT process. I come a few times a week to use the equipment and I always feel welcomed by the staff. Due to the pandemic I have used the Wilmington location before the HAC was able to open, and when at the beach over the summer I continued with PT at the Rehoboth location. If you are an athlete looking for PT this is the place to come! They see many high school and college athletes and many on the staff are former soccer players and some are also athletic trainers. When talking to your Doctor about a PT script be sure to ask for Elite PT , otherwise they have script pads for all the large chains and will direct you to those places. You have a choice! This place is the best. Go see Brian Catania, he is amazing!…read more As a former athlete, I am very familiar with physical therapy and have been to quite a few therapists over the years. Before I saw Brian, 7.5 years ago, I sustained an injury that left me unable to walk normally, let alone workout or continue training. My MRI was normal for the most part, which raised questions as to why I would be in such severe pain. I saw a few different doctors and physical therapists and nobody provided me with any relief. Then, I saw Brian. It turns out I had an upslip in my pelvis, which lead to a whole host of complicated and intertwined problems (SI dysfunction, etc.). After spending one hour with Brian, I walked out feeling like a new woman! It was instant relief! I continued to work with Brian for 2.5 years while I finished out my days as a competitive athlete. Without Brian, I don't think I ever would have been able to compete again. Fast forward to the present...after feeling pretty good for about 4.5 years, the site of my injury began to flare up again. I live and work in Philadelphia and I work long hours, so I knew that seeing Brian was going to be unrealistic. After a few months of trying a few different therapists in Philadelphia and not getting any better, I decided to really live on the edge and leave work a few hours early (at 5:30) to go see Brian. Well, no surprise, after working with Brian for an hour, I felt better than I had felt in over a year. I walked out once again feeling like a new woman! Brian's approach was completely different from the other therapists I had seen. Brian has such a great understanding of the human body and how everything is connected. For example, on top of all of my discomfort neat my SI joint, I had been having trouble breathing for a while. I saw a few allergists and even had an endoscopy, among other tests/procedures, to try and determine why I felt such a heaviness in my chest. I mentioned this issue to Brian and he was able to fix my breathing in a few minutes by manipulating/massaging my ribs/diaphragm. The man is a genius. It took me an hour and a half to get here, so you would think that would deter me from coming back. Nope. I now make the drive from Philadelphia once a week to come here because it is simply the best care you will ever get!

Bea is courteous, helpful, and has one of the most friendly and welcoming voices I've ever heard. She explained everything carefully, helped me get the forms I needed, made sure everything was filled out correctly, and just stayed on top of things expertly. My PT is Michele. This is the first time I have been able to get PT in my life. Michele explains things, she challenges me but she is friendly and really supportive. And she knows her stuff. My back was so bad I couldn't walk more than a few steps without pain. But doing the exercises as Michele taught me, and pushing myself a little more every visit, I am noticing improvements every week. I am definitely stronger and I am a lot more hopeful. The director yawned out loud during my session with him, that was professional. Although I was there an hour, 45-50 minutes I worked on my own, the PT only worked with me about 10 minutes. As I was working with PT for 10 minutes they were talking across the room to others instead of focusing on me. Most PT did not seem to be familiar with my injury, so they obviously didn't read my file or ask me directly. They did not send the reports they told me they would be sending to my Orthopaedic surgeon until I questioned them, they lied said they were sent but when I called surgeon's office the only report they had was from the day I questioned them. Although the bathrooms seemed pretty clean the rest of the facility did not, there was an outlet without a face plate right out in the open. Thank god insurance adjusted what they got paid because their $300 plus per visit is not worth it. I even gave them a very poor review and they didn't care enough to call me and discuss the issues, you would think they would want to improve, obviously not.
