I have not received any such bill or invoice or statement, and now it's getting close to a month since they say they mailed that statement. I'm not paying someone who contacts me by the phone when I have no invoice or statement for it. I've tried calling their billing folks with no luck. It's ridiculous.

On 12/20/21, I went into PIVOT for physical therapy. They had me sign an "Insurance Verification…read moreForm" that listed the insurance, co-pay, and so forth. The employee at PIVOT signed and VERIFIED this information and informed me that the co-pay was $30.00 per visit. I should have paid more attention to what was on the bottom of this form. There was a fine print that said that this verification form does not guarantee payment by the insurance company and "misquoted information" is not PIVOT's responsibility. I received 21 sessions over a span of 3-4 months and each time, they asked me to pay $30.00. When I asked if there were any outstanding fees, I was told that I did not have any. Two months after my last therapy session, I received a bill (6/13/22) from PIVOT indicating that I still owe them $342.75. If I had known that the co-pay is $45.00, I would have gone to another provider. I called our insurance company, PIVOT headquarters, and the local PIVOT office we visited and they all blamed each other. The headquarter told us the billing issue should be addressed by the local Rotunda PIVOT office and the Rotunda PIVOT office told us that our insurance was at fault. I could not address this issue after lengthy talks with all three entities. I ended up wasting my time and paying the bill. I learned my lesson the hard way and wanted to share this with you so you don't fall into this loophole. Beware of the fine print on the verification form you sign at the beginning of the treatment and check with your insurance company BEFORE you receive any services. If possible, just find a more transparent and honest business around you.

I should've read the reviews before I tried this Urgent Care. I'm giving two stars mainly because…read moreeveryone I interacted with was fairly cordial and there was no wait. However, I'm disappointed that the staff here did not listen to my concerns during my visit. I came in with a terrible sore throat and fever which had been going on since the day before. I popped into Urgent Care on Saturday in the hopes of getting prescribed antibiotics - if my primary physician were open, I would've just gone to her but it was the weekend. I knew I must have tonsillitis. I've had it 2-3 times in the past and when you know, you just know. I was seen immediately and ushered into a room by the same person who checked me in. Then he ushered me into another room. He asked me to take my mask off and had three swabs in hand. Thinking he was taking a strep test, I opened my mouth. Nope, Covid test and he put it up my nose. Would've been nice to have some warning or been told what was happening. He took another swap up my nose and then another in my throat. He said someone would be in soon. 30 minutes later another person comes in the room. Was she a nurse, a doctor? I'm not sure, she never introduced herself. She said all my tests came back negative and I asked what tests? Since I was never informed. So I don't have strep, the flu or Covid. I tell her I'm certain it's tonsillitis because I've had it before and I can see from looking at my throat that that's what it is. This person barely looked at my throat (didn't even use a tongue depressor to get a good look) and didn't even touch the lymph nodes on my neck to check for swelling. Didn't even touch my neck at all. She also told me my body aches aren't consistent with tonsillitis. Wrong, my lymph nodes were swollen and causing aches which is a common symptom of tonsillitis. She also told me they don't prescribe antibiotics for tonsillitis. Also wrong, I've been prescribed antibiotics for all the cases of tonsillitis I've had in the past. This is necessary for tonsillitis brought on by a bacterial infection. My condition continued to worsen the following days - unable to eat, drink, swallow, sleep (due to reduced air flow), turn my head, and even talk. I finally saw my ENT that Tuesday and he took one look at my throat and felt my lymph nodes and said yep, this is tonsillitis and prescribed me antibiotics and steroids since the swelling was so bad. He was shocked when I told him the urgent care didn't prescribe me anything or even do any blood tests. Safe to say I will not be returning to this urgent care anytime in the future. They lack communication and listening skills and it's actually very concerning.

After…read morealmost 2 months of a swelled knee and little activity, Dr. Riederman was able to pinpoint the problem. I'm always scared to death of needles and Dr. Riederman felt like a cortisone shot was in order . . . , and the best part is that he was finished before I even realized it!!! I was waiting for the "big miserable needle" and lots of pain, only to find that Dr. R's skillful hands had gotten in and out without a blink of an eye. My appointment was at 8:00 a.m. this morning. It is now 4:30 p.m. the same day and I've been able to walk up and down my stairs, bend my knee more easily, and I didn't limp to the kitchen. That's just 8 hours later. I'm looking forward to resuming my regular pickleball schedule next week and it wouldn't have happened without Dr. Riederman!!! I know Dr. Riederman is a well respected Orthopedic Surgeon in our area, and I sure am thankful he sits in our backyard. Oh, and as a caveat to my success story, . . . about 27 years ago Dr. Riederman fixed my husband's shoulder. His shoulder is still in great shape today and that is truly a testament to the skill and experience this fine physician brings to the table. I felt so at ease during my appointment and Dr. R definitely did everything to accommodate a productive, and helpful appointment. All I can say is - - this man is the "A Team". You won't find any better no matter where you look!

I'm talking ankle sprains, ankle bruises, broken toe, injured wrist, injured fingers, acl surgery, lower back pain, etc. I love that the specialists, PA-C's, and physical therapists are all so nice. They're all knowledgeable and kind and have great bedside manners. The location is great. This location isn't even my closest office, but I love the gorge Quarry Lake views. The waiting room, patient rooms, and bathroom are always super clean. Most recently, I visited w my ggggf, and I loved the way they tended to her and made her feel comfy about an uncomfortable injury. Although I'm not looking forward to another injury, I do wish this business the best and will certainly keep my business there when/ if needed.
