I'd like to start by saying that while I haven't visited the physical building, I was referred here…read moreby my doctor to work with a dietitian to help me lose weight and improve my health. This isn't something I ever would have considered earlier in my life--not for any particular reason, I just wouldn't have done it. However, for the past four months, I have been working with Dennis Bueso, MA, RD (Clinical/Sports Dietitian), and the experience has been nothing like I expected. Being very overweight, I anticipated someone taking charge of the conversation and lecturing me on what I 'better' start doing. I think TV gave me a twisted idea of how these things go. Thankfully, it hasn't been like that at all. Our conversations are excellent and open. Mr. Bueso is incredibly 'chill' and immediately sets you at ease; it feels like a normal, back-and-forth conversation between two people. He is great at following up and is just a genuinely easy person to talk to. Since starting, I've seen amazing results. For those who know what A1C is, mine had been double what it should be for over five years. In just four months, I've brought it down to exactly where it's supposed to be. I give myself credit for controlling my diet, but Dennis has been instrumental in helping me understand what to watch and work on. In addition to the blood work, I've lost over 30 pounds in that same timeframe. I definitely want to give props and thanks to Mr. Bueso. If your doctor has recommended a dietitian, just do it. I worried about how it would go, but those worries were unnecessary. It has been a great experience. We only get one shot at life; I may have started this battle late, but I'm determined to battle to the end. Thank you if you read all my ramblings. :) Thank you again Dennis. Tim

They also give you exercises that you can do at home. I went for the dry needling, but found out my insurance doesn't cover it, but you have the option to pay out of pocket. The room is wide open so it will be several other patients getting worked on at the same time. They do have some private rooms. You're given several exercises to build your strength back up in whatever area you have issues with, and they also incorporate some massage, and heating pads into your treatment. It's about an hour visit, and you're in and out. Wear something comfy. I have used them in the past as well and think its a nice office to use for your therapeutic needs. Check them out!!

It occupies the entire second floor of the new Bon Secours Building at Town Center. The location is the south side of Columbus Street west of Independence Boulevard. The back entrance to Wegmans is across the street. The last time I had therapy here PT was the only occupant. Now the first floor contains an Imaging Center on one side and an Urgent Care on the opposite side. It's very obvious to me now why different medical groups have recommended this practice. I've seen both Chris & Paolo's teams. A therapist stays with you the entire time rather than rotating between multiple patients. Care from both teams is excellent. At my initial evaluation I was amazed at the clinical report. They had observed and noted all my issues. All the physical problems I had mentioned were documented. The front desk personnel are friendly. The desk is staffed even when I have a late appointment. Both the waiting room and therapy area are clean and spacious. There are dedicated parking spaces for In Motion patients. I highly recommend this Physical Therapy Practice.

Due to a minor knee surgery and a platelet injection a few weeks prior, I was advised I needed to wait at least four weeks post-operation before beginning treatment. I started my initial treatment in mid-July. The office environment is clean and well lighted, as expected from a medical facility. The front desk staff is consistently nice and professional. I haven't met a doctor on the premises, so I am unsure if one is regularly available. Overall, my experience has been stress-free for the most part.  During my first visit, I expected to receive my first gel injection. Instead, I received a Toradol shot, an NSAID for pain and inflammation. I was initially confused and was informed that patients typically receive 4-5 Toradol shots before starting the gel injections. After my second visit, as I prefer to minimize pain medication, I asked if the Toradol series was mandatory. I was then told it was recommended but not required.  Since most insurance does not cover the gel injection and this is an out of pocket expense I believe this distinction should be explained more clearly upfront, as other patients I've spoken with also seemed to be under the impression that the pain shot series was mandatory before starting the gel injections.  My treatment consisted of five weekly/bi-weekly gel injections. I began to feel a significant difference after the third injection, particularly with lunges and squats. The stiff, locking sensation I experienced during workouts improved considerably, and I've also noticed an improvement in my knee pain, though some discomfort remains. You can receive the series of gel injections every 6-12 months.   For those experiencing joint or arthritis pain, I would recommend researching Rejuvinix, with the understanding that individual responses to treatment can vary.
